Storyblocks seemed like a good idea until I realized that my video subscription was more expensive than envato elements, which includes video, audio AND images (and has a better selection). But I couldn't get a refund from Storyblocks because I downloaded 2 items before I realized my mistake. So now I'm stuck with 2 videos that I will never use, and I'm out $40.Update: I followed up with customer service like they asked me to do in their comment below, but all they said was pretty much "sorry, you're out of luck." So I'm with Envato Elements now.
Not bad as far as you don't need them.I used it a lot for many project but that time I had a question about the validity of a licence on one of their clip showing a public figure.I never had the answer over if I could or not use the clip in a commercial work, they were just trying to sell me a more expensive package without garanteing anything. Too bad.
unfortunately managed by this site is bad, incompetent people who do not help you in any way, I don't recommend it
When 5 star reviews have 6 posts on the same day and 6 the day after, this makes me very skeptical. I realize people that are upset will be more likely to post a bad review but putting fake good reviews is the worst way to handle the situation. This is an unethical practice. I will find another supplier.
Unfortunately I have to give one star to review. Not worth a dime. Fraud in my eyes. You pay for a basic subscription, because you want to try, and then you can only download music. Sfx etc are exempted. Very bad. Not worth to try.At least a reaction here. I said goodbye to the money already.Just give the customer a chance to try. I wanted to try first. I'm not signing up for a more expensive plan without trying. Nobody wants to do that. I'm not interested in music but I need sfx and sounds a lot for audio productions.
