What are the best aspects of this product?
For a long while now, I've experienced and told everyone how a CAE software eats up a lot resources and time. That would mean making use of a PC with decent specs in running bigger simulations. But thanks to Simscale, I'm able to operate large simulations even from a tablet! I didn't know I could actually do this. So that's a huge advantage!
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
It only happened to me one time. But it was short. Servers went offline or issues were experienced due to some kind of server issues happening from your side. The issue was resolved quickly. But due to Simscale operating in servers, I'm a bit surpised the problem came up.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
At the moment, I'm teaching university-level engineering. Simcale happens to be the ideal choice for software engineering. Students can sign up free of charge and do their homework wherever. It's a matter of accessing the web browser. At the same time, I get to look and critique into their progress!

What are the best aspects of this product?
It doesn't take up a lot of time in setting up a Simscale simulation. This way better compared to its current competitors. It's proven to be handy. It responds swiftly to prototype simulation for a wide range of parameters. Simulation data can be housed in the cloud.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
There's one issue that needs to be resolved. From time to time, pre-processing takes longer than expected.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
I really didn't tackle down any business issue. But I did gave some sample projects a go with the platform. I've tried just about every software program out there. This included Catia, Solidworks, Wolfram Modeller, Autodesk, Rhinoceros, and CFDs. Setting up simulation is uber challenging with such platforms. Simscale minmized that barrier for everyone in ramp and prototype a simulation swiftly.

What are the best aspects of this product?
I'm able to access a ton of functionality that I need with this CFD package. And I get all these in the browser alone. SimScale is more than just an exceptional CAE package. It has a great following and makes for a good source of education.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
SimScale is known for starting things from scratch. While that's a good thing, it's also lacking some functionality that some advancers are in need of. With that in mind, SimScale is rapidly growing. Their staff is constantly monitoring the forums to sniff out priority features that they'll add/improve in the system.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
Since I'm a Mac user and a student, going for a CAE engineering platform is severely limited to only a few. Right now, as a student, knowledge regarding CFD is restricted. With SimScale, both these issues were resolved. I feel that there's no other community out there capable of imparting me knowledege in a short time period.

What are the best aspects of this product?
Setting things up for simulation takes relatively a short period of time on SimScale. This is way better compared to other products currently in the market. It's helpful in for prototyping simulation for a wide range of parameters. Data that has been simulated can now be stored within the cloud.

One tiny issue. From time to time, pre-processing can take up a lot of time.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
I couldn't resolve any business issues but did a bit of sample projects on the platform. I was able to deal with other softwares such as Catia, Rhinoceros, Solidworks, and CFD. These platforms were exteremely difficult in setting up simulation. SimScale was able to minimize such barrier so anyone can swiftly ramp up and do a prototype a simulation.
