They sent an 'invite' from me to all my LinkedIn contacts. I can't believe that companies are still employing growth hacking tactics straight outta 2008 like spamming your entire contact list to grow their userbase ultimately the blame is on me for not checking the ToS.

spam everyone on your contacts list. AVOID. Virtually impossible to close your account if you set one up. Mine was closed a week ago - but it's still active and Spamming me. Someone needs to close this lot down.

Using a misleading interface to trick users import all of their linkedin contacts, and then spammed all of them, claiming the user wants to invite them to join remote.com. I have contacted the customer support for an account deletion, got promised it will be done.20 days later, my account is still there and my friends received 2 more invitations from the account that they promise will 'delete soon' for me.I truly felt sorry for my friends who got harassed by this website over and over again, and felt astonished that there are still people doing this at 2018.????????????????????

Seriously unhappy with the user interface. It emailed my whole contact base from LinkedIn in what I consider to be an underhand way. Why is there not a check box that clearly says "You are about to email your entire contact list, do you want to proceed?" Answer: because then no-one would join.I immediately deleted my account for this very reason but the damage has been done. In theory this would have been a useful way to build a network of remote workers, which I am looking for but the way the idea is executed (with the collusion, I suspect, of LinkedIn) is just awful.I'm very annoyed indeed.

I started to join Remote.com because it was recommended on a freelance work site. I reached the bit where it wanted all your LinkedIN contacts, and paused, after spending time creating a profile.I didn't and checked Trustpilot. Thank goodness I did. I don't want all my contacts spammed. Very bad for my business image.Deleting profile. AVOID.
