What do you like best?
The reports are pretty and professional looking.
What do you dislike?
Let's see... No telephone number to call customer support. Too expensive. Way, way too expensive. In fact, I was paying $300 per month and for that price, I want to talk to a human if something breaks. You can't find their address or telephone number, no matter how good a Googler you are.
What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
I didn't solve any problems. They have a "page grading" system and you can get an "on-page" ranking grade of F, but still be ranked number one in Google. In other words, the page grading tool is worthless. And if you follow their advice, you could take a highly ranked page and screw it up... Just because MOZ says it sucks. How could a #1 ranking get an F? You don't know? Me neither.
I have been using Moz Local this year on the advice of a good friend who's an SEO expert. I paid £179 for the privilege of being their customer for a year.However from day one, they reported my Google reviews as if they were double the normal number. Of course, that error was skewing all my results, I asked for my money back and they refused to cooperate. Since then, their support department has contacted me to say the issue was fixed, and it was not. And now instead of the usual 54 Google reviews, Moz Local tells me I have 159 reviews! So I guess if I renew my membership with them, the number of my Google reviews will be ten fold.Rubbish service, rubbish at keeping you updated, rubbish at explaining where you stand, and still they will not reimburse you your money. You would be better off signing up with Scoot, Yelp, FB, Twitter, The Independent, The Mirror, The Sun, Touch Local, Central Index, Factual, Thomson Local, Google Plus, Foursquare and Hotfrog yourself, then monitor the situation. No need to part with £179. And no need to wait on this useless company to pretend to do the work for you, as they do not. AVOID.
Before you do business with Moz review the website and ask the question how will I end service when the time comes? You will not find a phone number. You will not find a reasonable way to cancel your subscription. You will not find customer service representatives that want to do anything more than continue your subscription. Finally, the service that they provide, in my opinion, is not all that great either. No, DO NOT RECCOMEND Moz.
I applied for a 30 day trial, and it din't work.
Actually HURT our SEO. We went from top 10 in our city to not even top 2 on our street. They also refuse any form of refund.
