What are the best aspects of this product?

There are two ways I get receipts: first one is a hard copy-retail store and the second one is online order. When I get through retail store I use Abacus mobile app, snap a picture and create new expense in less than 30sec. When it comes to online order I forward the receipt to Abacus email address and create new expense. I don’t use paper, scanning, emails, personal email address or any other options than Abacus.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

I have never used other expense systems so I don’t have dislikes about this one.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

It saves me lot of time. The reimbursement is quick and easy, I don’t have to wait for a month in order to get reimbursement for some business expense.

What are the best aspects of this product?

Abacus is easy to use and intuitive software made for large teams and one-off expenses as well. In the past I used to scan receipts, sending them in and follow what was paid back, it was nightmare. I’m amazed that I don’t have to live this nightmare again, the process is smooth and easy when it comes to submitting expenses. All I have to do is to snap a photo of the receipt, enter the amount and categorize it. It takes less than a minute. I’m able to use my own cards and to link it to my bank but I prefer using Abacus.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

Abacus is always improving and because of this I cannot say that I have dislikes about it. I would like to link my credit cards and to review charges and then to mark them as “business expense” in other words I would like to avoid receipts.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

I work with team that is all over the company and I often catch the last minute supplies for office events, team outings, recruiting events and etc, this tool provides me with helpful reporting and logging features.

What are the best aspects of this product?

When it comes to expense reporting, Abacus does the job. The Abacus’ team has improved the interface and they made it simpler so it can be used by everyone. I like that this tool is built on Angular.js and I think that is backed by node.js, because of this it is well synchronized and it provides quick interface feedback.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

I remember that there was a bug that showed me other expenses but they quickly solve the issue.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

It helps us to do the reporting painlessly and it speeds up the process. The interface allows me to see the pending expenses. I like that it makes the whole process organized. I’m able to submit receipt by using email or online interface. It notifies me about the expenses that I need to submit and I never submit duplicate expenses.

What are the best aspects of this product?

Abacus is great tool for both users and admins. It makes the process of reimbursement fast and easy for both employees and volunteers. It makes easy to reconcile the company card expenses. I like that the integration with our accounting system makes the whole process easy to use and it works perfectly.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

Sometimes the reimbursements take 4-5 days and this can be problem for some volunteers.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

As non-profit organization we have a group of hundreds volunteers, dozens of contactors and employees who are located all over the US. Thanks to Abacus and the integration with our system we are able to manage more than thousands charges. It saves lot of time for reconciling receipts.
