What do you like best?
Nothing, as all the conditions become known only after you jump through their hoops.
What do you dislike?
Applied for Brex after SaaStr on the pretence that it was a card that allows you to access credit funds to a portion of your bank balance. Only to find that there’s a whole string of other requirements. Sole Proprietor, not eligible. < $100k in the bank, not eligible. Even if you meet the funds required you must have professional investors!
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
Wasted time by not being upfront with their underwriting requirements.
We’re a Australian headquartered company, which meets all govt requirements, but not the sole proprietor or professional investors. We have a $2m ARR with 20 staff, bootstrapped and growing.
What do you like best?
Chat Support answers quickly (although doesn't solve much).
What do you dislike?
Would advise any entrepreneur / corporation to stay away as far as you can!
Brex has sloppy processes all over the place. Minor issues all along were visible since we signed up but we ignored them (shouldn't have). Things like erratic balance changes even though our bank accounts had maintained (or increased) in cash balances.
With millions of dollars of "proof of funds" from other bank statements and CDs, yet they still cut your credit every couple weeks. We had two business accounts for two of my separate businesses. One of my businesses even had a Brex Cash account with 10x the Brex Cash balance than the entire monthly spend on the account, yet they disabled all the cards once by accident, took us 4 days to resolve while the money was all along in the "brex cash" account.
Great that you have "Chat Support" but they cannot resolve much at all. I'm telling you it is one of the worst (if not the worst) corporate credit card companies you have ever seen and you will regret using them sooner or later.
It goes as far as actually showing fake credit limits that immediately cuts your credit even if you only spent 50% of the limit (never mind you have assets to back up 10x more than what they are "lending" to you). Plain unreliable for any serious businesses. Only startups that can't get other credit cards should ever consider which is exactly what they are after.
Like the other reviewers said, sooner or later you will regret using them, that is guaranteed. There is no way this company will ever beat AMEX, amex customer service is orders of magnitude better and gives us way more credit without any issues. I believe Brex might even fail before it can fix their already bleeding/scarred brand.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is a startup card only for companies that cannot get credit. Serious businesses need to stay away from it and get a real credit card that you can rely on.

At this point. They created more problems than benefits.
Totally disorganized experience. They say the will give you a loan, want all your banking log in details to “verify “ your loan without a credit check. I opted not to and was told I could send financial statements. Without a day passing I received an email saying it could not be processed because they HAD evaluated my finances and I didn’t qualify. How did they make that evaluation when I never sent them? Upon further questioning, they kept passing me to another rep. Pressing me for different info but never my statements. They have my tax ID number and now I have no clue what they are doing with it. I wouldn’t give this company access to anything. I feel like my ein and info was stolen and this company doesn’t seem to process loans or know how to do so professionally.
They can't even answer basic customer service questions when I am hoping to open up a business corporate account w/ them. Sad :( . I will gladly change this review if they somehow get their act together and help.
I had a very negative experience with Brex.
