Atrocious Customer Service!Every interaction I have had with this company, since signing up as a business level member, has been handled by Carmela with carelessness. Because they do not have a phone line to call, you must communicate through email. The response time can be anywhere from days to more than a week. Because their back-end system is not designed for the way they handle business accounts, you will run into access issues. This is problematic if you rely on their products to do business.Though their product is simple to use, their platform is not reliable and their customer service is just ridiculous. I recommend finding another company that offers these services with a reliable platform and customer service that cares more about its customers.

It’s been almost 3 years that I’m using Animoto since there’s no other provider like them and I love this marketing toll so much. However it’s really sad that every question I asked regarding the renewal for membership, pricing or technical questions like using my own music for videos has remained unanswered.I’ve asked how to upload for example a piece from apple music that works on Animoto ( I even took a screen shot of the error) but seems no one cares. They just gave me a general answer and it felt like they haven’t even read my questionIt tells me you can use this type of music because (The song is DRM protected).Recently I wanted to buy an annual plan which was very good deal around $150-160But when I exit the page to do something and went back to buy it the deal was increased to $240.I sent 2 emails and i just received a reply to wait for them to find out what happened and they never get back to me.I love Animoto but I’m really disappointed for how your ignored me. Security a BIG problem at Animoto and the service is not customer friendly! My account was hacked and I found a threatening email in my junk mail saying they were infecting my malware etc... They said they had full access and control over my computer and all my accounts and passwords. They said they could see me on my camera and had recorded me. They threatened to post on social media and wanted me to send 900$ with current bitcoin. I couldn't get into my account but I sent Animoto a copy of the threatening email. The good news from the hack is I came to find out that I had been being charged $16 a month since July 2017 when I downloaded one video. My partner pays the credit card so it went unnoticed. I reached out to Animoto as they could clearly see I hadn't used the service since 2017 and had been charged monthly. They credited me 3 months out of 30 months of being charged. So one video cost me over $400. I suggest NOT using the service. I am a professor and will NO longer be having my students use the service to create videos for projects. NOT worth it. Customer service was also NOT prompt in responding.

I recommend not doing business with this company. We had a subscription for a year. On the following year they auto-billed and never sent any warning about this or even a receipt. Luckily my credit card showed the payment was charged and I contacted the company the same day to cancel the annual subscription and refund us.There customer service policy is No EXCEPTIONS No REFUNDS. What kind of crappy business is this? I'm making an FCC claim against the company. This is unethical business.

I don’t know why my first attempt in May of 2018 was never received. I cancelled, assuming it went through. It disgusts me that you can clearly see that since May of 2018, I never used the service again. I know that you could do something to resolve this issue but you choose not to. And no. I don’t want you to reinstate services for 6 months at no additional charge. I cancelled initially because I was not satisfied with your product. Why would I want it back? I imagine you will only start charging me again, after your offer is over, and I will be back in the same boat as before. That would make no sense. I am very sad and heartbroken. I will never ever again sign up for a program that automatically collects my money. This company doesn’t have integrity. I hope you are enjoying the $700 that you have taken from my account.
