It also enables employees to text each other about trading shifts or finding a last-minute replacement, without the user having to do so. Planday provides schedule reports that enable users to see and track the number of shifts or hours worked by an employee. They can also see the start and end of each shift, type of shift worked by the employee, and employees that called in sick. The software enables staff members to request time off, and once a holiday request is approved, the system will no longer allow the user to schedule an employee who is away.
