strongDM

StrongDM is a networking tool that helps companies manage and audit employee access to their databases, clusters, servers, and web apps. A network at strongDM comprises a local client, gateway, and configuration layer. The local client tunnels send requests to the gateway from users' workstations, via a single TLS 1.2 secure TCP connection. To check the authentication of users who have logged into the local client, their requests are optionally redirected to SSO or their identity providers. In strongDM, the local client includes both a command-line and graphical interface. The gateway is the entry point of the network and can be deployed using DNS entry. Gateways are capable of decrypting security credentials from the end-user side and deconstructing requests for auditing purposes. The configuration layer is where the Admin UI is present.
