What do you like best?

It works well when it works. Common inbox, mobile app, all work great for a call center / reception desk type application.

What do you dislike?

Customer service is not a thing past 6PM on Friday. Apparently Zipwhip doesn’t think their users are open for business during the weekend, because they certainly don’t care about helping you out with any issue outside of normal business hours.

This is THE most expensive landline texting solution out there, and to get the flippant response from my account rep that of the entire Zipwhip workforce there is no person that can help on a Saturday is absurd.

Don’t bother with these guys, they don’t care about you and they represent a major risk to your business.

Currently Zipwhip is the biggest business problem i have. But apparently they cant look into that for 48 hours.

The worst customer service I've ever received. When switching platforms they would not email or answer any questions I had, they released the number without notifying me so any messages we got over the weekend are gone. Very disappointed with the customer service.

ZipWhip confused us when they were bought by Twillio!!! Be very careful on the cancellation policy from this service provider, as they change rules as they go and wipe all evidence off their website. 

 ZipWhip preached that they were going to close all service on 12/31/22. In October  2022 - conveniently past our billing cycle day - they moved up the obsolescence day to 10/31/22. 

Then sometime in the next weeks, "NEVERMIND - we're still open. We can't credit you a proration and sorry to inconvenience you, why don't you just stay with us?"

They also had a phone line with representatives answering questions in person, but told me that I couldn’t cancel on the phone because that department didn’t have phone attendants. :/

After we moved to Text Request – referred to us by ZipWhip - they had an entire page on which providers could help us, "the small companies" – and made the switch, ZipWhip erased all statements about cancelling their service on their webpages and stated that they were staying open. 

--- This push to change vendors due to them cancelling the service and the 1 month billables time period at $179 per month per small business porbably netted them a good chunk of change for Twillio, but what it meant to me is that this service, while economical and programmed well, has poor communication with customers.

Our new service has more enhancements, more safety built in for opt out and costs less. Try Text Request.

I'm very happy with the new update - a search function that makes sense, better groups, and more fields.

What do you dislike?

Slow, service stops way too frequently with no warning. Would love if I could add tags to user profiles and search on those tags.

Landline texting is a LIFE saver. Being able to quickly reach so many employees ar once is so beneficial.
