PRO Membership is a scamIve been a member of YouPic for quite some time - actually since the start of 2014. Up to about a month ago I actually liked the site. I felt it was a good way to share my photography at get inspirations from others. But all that changed about a month ago…Here is the story: About a month ago I finally decided to try the PRO subscription after being contacted by Lisa from YouPic several times. She was full of promises about how great it would be and all the benefits I would get.Allow me to quote from some of her messages:"Give me this one chance, this one shot to prove what I can do for you. I can guarantee you will be happy with me and the Pro option, and if you are not, you can cancel at anytime. ?“ (I was stupid enough to believe that this meant I would get my money back if I wasn’t satisfied)"Let me host you and show you., I know you will love it. As a Pro members you will also have direct access to an YouPic Account manager to be able to get most out of your account.""After doing so, write to me and I will personally make sure you get the most return on investment and show you how to get started with store.""I promise you this will be a good experience for you. I will make sure of it.""I know I can deliver a really good return on your investment. Clients, sales, exposure, fame, social features and more…"Ever since I signed up I have tried to get some help setting up the store and website - but without any success. I’ve written several times a day through the messaging system, but either I get a reply that does not solve anything - or (most often) I get no answer at all.I’ve tried to sort out how things work by myself, but without any luck. And I have to say that I find it very unsatisfactory that they have a system with no FAQ or help system of any kind.Today I feel that the YouPic PRO membership is nothing but a scam and I advice all to stay away form it. It's absolutely a waste of your money. After being ignored for a long time, I've been in contact with a lot of other PRO members on the site - and all their stories are very similar to mine: Lots of promises before signing up for PRO and absolute silence afterwards.

I'm surprised to see the rating so high for this site. Obviously if you want to pat your own back and show your images and get praise for free it's not a bad thing to do. However, they seem to offer a shop and there is no such thing should you wish to offer your images for sale. They imply they have a shop but have yet to see one as there people are great at getting you to go pro with lots of promises but don't follow through. Every time I ask a question, it's not answer or the answer dances around the real answer. Taking my images off as it really does me now goo.

No 0 stars because trustpilot doesn't offer it. Terrible platform full of scam accounts without offering true value! Joined soon after discovering viewbug and 500px, youpic is the cheap version. A bad copycat. scam alert!

Great for people that want to share their snaps. Not good as a professional showcase. Continually bombarded with requests to upgrade to their premium membership, but more annoying there is no filtering of advertising spam and non-photographic entries.
