What do you like best?
The possibility to extend WSO2 IS functionality, the easy way to implement a SSO service, and the way it handles the authentication process.
The possibility to integrate Oauth2/Oidc Application in an easy way.
What do you dislike?
The examples provided, usually are more complex than making the configuration itself.
The Documentation is never in one place, you have to google the net to find more informations about the products.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
Authentication for users from differents User store.
Authentication with custom Authenticators and Federated providers.
Integration of Angular/React applications with OIDC/Oauth2.
What do you like best?
Using role-based access control (RBAC) convention, fine-grained policy based access control was a great experience. Single Sign-On (SSO) via OpenID, SAML2, and Kerberos KDC also a very good feature.
What do you dislike?
It seems to be that WSO2IS 5.0.0 and APIM 1.8.0 key manager installation does not work properly

If you want to time plus money and want a robust, efficient and scale able solution then go with WSO2 IS
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
We are working on a infrastructure monitoring SOA based solution. We are using WSO2 stack along with Identity server. It saves lot of efforts and time, because the beauty of WSO2 poducts is every thing is configurable.
What do you like best?
Single Sign-On and centralized identity management is excellent. And also we find it a secure way to implement identity management using wso2.
What do you dislike?
installation, user interface is little difficult. It is helpful if we have single interface for all to install any wso2 services and manage them.

before using the product it is best to understand the product. Otherwise it is little bit confusing.

We are trying to provide a single sign-on and some open urls which any user can access.
What do you like best?
We needed to provide a solution that shielded some java, typo3 and Sharepoint applications from accessing different user stores with some standard APIs and the WSO2 Identity Server really helped us. Consuming the provided SAML token the applications developed in different technologies were able to consume user information coming from different stores.
What do you dislike?
Sometimes you need to read more than one basic example to setup a complex solution and even if they are coming from wso2 employees they are available from personal blogs. So you do not have a single place to find the documentation, but you have to google the net. And these examples are also mentioned by the official documentation.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
We needed to autheticate users coming from different user stores within application developed using different technology, so we used wso2 Identity Server as a central point for authentication regardless of the technology used.
What do you like best?
Open source and easy to use and configurable.
What do you dislike?
I found nothing which they are lacking. Keeep up the good work .

Centralized Identity Server for Authentication and Authorization of users. We also enabled SSO for internal and external applications.
