We use job #'s as sub-clients of the parent (actual client and have some clients with multiple businesses and/ or multiple properties and this created a ton of challenges in the setup to avoid duplicates coming over from Quickbooks Online into Infusionsoft. So much so that we shelved the majority of cross-program functionality for now to focus on other things, thus we are only experiencing a small fraction of the integration possible. BTW: We are an Electrical and General Contracting Business.

It is really easy to see what you are building and to work out where there are mistakes. It also allows for visual debugging generally.

consider whether the products you use are completely supported by workato or only partially. Zapier seems to do some things slightly better than Workato, but not others. It really requires determining the full desired workflow and then attempt to build it in both systems to see which has the best integration for your requirements - it may even require a mix of both. Also, sometimes when copying data from sheets with workato, workato is too fast and the full line has not been loaded yet (even from a submit operation, so recommend using the 5 minute timer.

We use Googel Drive for storage and Sheets for working out quote requirements as well as for receiving forms with reviews etc, so I use workato to copy and link relevant information into Salesforce and back.

Already in-built integrations using APIs for various SAAS application. Developers just need to know what field to use and can built an integration within few hours or a day. Custom integration that takes days or months can now be done in few hours or a day.

Developer need to have good knowledge on API fields of the application to be integrated.

Try it out to decide if it is a good fit or not. for the use case, decide a medium complexity one.

We liked that we had control over how we wanted to integrate Eventbrite and Salesforce. We could customize it to our liking without being forced into a prearranged configuration.

Even though it does have a lot of customization, there are some little features that are missing. For instance, you can't choose to update just ANY field in Salesforce, there are pre-picked ones that you must choose from.

We needed a way to have our Eventbrite events replicate to Salesforce as Campaign's. Workato does this perfectly and as a result we have saved time and money while also gaining insight into what types of people attend our events and how they relate to our organization.

I like the flexibility of the platform - without necessarily being a developer. I'm a pretty serious data person - but not a developer or coder. This system provides me with a way to connect disparate systems, make transformations and automate processes that otherwise would be ugly and/or manual.

The costs. Your pricing model changed - and it makes sense for larger organizations with big infrastructure headaches, but for my large number of small nonprofits - who have small #s of staff and need the workflow automation - it is getting to be (if not already prohibitive in cost. Yes, even with your nonprofit discount.

Take your time - figure out your logic and go through the training before sitting down to actually do the recipe.
