What do you dislike?

The best part is the way you can organize and categorize a lot of files into folders, collections, and by metadata. It makes it easy to search for items or narrow them down to a collection, so long as you have made the effort to organize files when they were uploaded.

I dislike the occasional bugs that confuse everyone at work. There are times where it'll show an error uploading a file, and later on, it has uploaded it anyway so now there's a duplicate, or sometimes it won't upload it at all, usually when you need it most. t also isn't the most browser-friendly software.

Aside from a few missing features and bugs, it is a very useful software.

Wa are trying to organise all our companies assets and documents in a private location where you can share a particular item publically to host or embed it on a website, share to customers and partners etc, and when you upload a new version on widen, it automatically updates the file thats been shared everywhere.

What are the best aspects of this product?

I like that with this solution we can organize and categorize huge amount of files into folders, collections and by metadata. We can easily search for items or reduce the collection as long as we have organize the files when they were all uploaded. When we upload the file on a Widen it automatically updates the file that’s been shared with others.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

It has some bugs, it shows an error uploading a file and later the file is being uploaded but it is duplicate or sometimes it won’t upload it at all, this makes it confusing.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

It helps us to organize all our company’ assets and documents in a private place so we can easily share specific item to host or embed it on a websitek share it to partners or customers.

Assets are easy to upload, update, and then view

Some of the metadate options can be finnicky, particularly if you want to update an existing description

It has its flaws, but is not a bad DAM depending on your uses and it is more user friendly than many others I've tried.

We are able to manage our image and collections assets much more easily than some other software that I've used. We can cross communicate over departments

That all of our imagery is located in one spot and that cross functional teams have access to it.

It can be slow and glitchy. The DAM works well, although it can be hard to search. Workflow leaves some areas to be desired.

The DAM is very nice, although it can be hard to search. Having a strong naming convention can help. Workflow still has a lot of bugs but I think it will be good in the future.

The DAM has reduced the amount of interruptions by providing a single source to information that is easily accessed cross functionally.
