Very easy to setup, you just need a single link to send to co-workers and customers. The quality of calls and video is very good and you can control the volume of participants individually without muting them.

It's nice to have different rooms, which we use for different team members, and I love the button to ensure everyone exits the room while leaving yourself as the host in the room ready for another call.

It's easy to share screens, either the entire screen or selected windows / applications. This is great from a privacy point of view.

It is also super simple to sign into the Whereby account, using just a 6 digit code sent to your email. Singing in will give you access to more features than just joining, but if you need a quick call, just go direct to your room :)

You can upload a display picture, a background image, and name yourself in rooms too.

I dislike how others can easily bump into an existing call, so no waiting room is available. A simple waiting room is good, but there is a knock to enter function I believe.

Some users require a plugin to be installed, but this is rare. I think this was in the early days of Appear.in although it's no longer always required.

I think too that the quality on mobile devices could be slightly improved. When some users join from mobile, it's harder to hear them but also they complain it's not easy to here other users, especially if they speak loudly it can come through so loud it's distorted.

If I really had to consider the downsides of using Whereby, it has to be spelling out the name each time. People sometimes think it is Wherebi or Wereby or Werebi and it can be frustrating. Maybe a better sounding link would make this even easier while keeping the company name?

Easy to access, participants have no trouble logging in

No password (getting the code when needing our paid acct is annoying - its an unecessary extra step), havign to tggle between 1-4 room size and 5-12 room size, it should just be up to 12 (2-12 participants).

Let'e be honest, Appear.in PRO provides a LOT of value for a simple and not so big a fee. Even the free version is great.

It's not stable. We experienced different issues from people in the room not being able to communicate between themselves (2 people could, other 2 people could, but the 4 of them no) to issues with screen sharing.

The interface is very easy. Doesn't require downloads and you can have great backgrounds.

A lot of people have issues joining from different browsers. We find it only really works well with Chrome. People also can't dial in, which they feel frustrated by.
