What do you like best?
There is nothing good to like. I hate the guts of support team. The way they deal with customers.
What do you dislike?
Worst platform ever used. Their software is full of bugs. Even the basic feature of email- marketing has not been mastered properly. More worse is their support team, who doesn't take accountability of their buggy software. They keep on transferring call to some other person to procrastinate the issue. My humble request to their team, please accept that your software is full of bugs so that one can figure out a way to use this buggy software. I hope somebody from your team will contact me after reading this review. Thanks

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
No problem has been solved. More problems are getting created.
What do you like best?
I like the automated journeys feature, easy stop and start tracking of the events and easy integration with the third party products.
What do you dislike?
Dashboard is too slow and we face a lot of technical setbacks at their end with affects our campaigns. Also the reporting and analysis aspect is lacking in the tool. Have to do a lot of manual calculations.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
We are solving cross channel communication with webengage and able to reach out efficiently to our dropped out customers with better segmentation.
What do you like best?
1. Ease of segmenting the users basis different attributes
2. Low reliance on tech once the integration is done.
3. Webengage gives you a lot of flexibility to play with communication/engagement using their journey module & can help you in deriving key insights
What do you dislike?
1. The analytics & reporting engine of the webengage is atleast 2-3 years behind. Pulling data for the purpose of the analysis is not easy & you need to take help of the support team to get basic data.
2. Survey module is very basic. Doesn't work properly on the mobile site. Links that you add as part of message are not clickable & you can't create integrated journeys with them which is quite bad for a marketing automation tool!
3. Funnel module is poorly built. You can analyze only one funnel at a time
4. In-app notifications are very slow even with the latest sdk integration
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
1. We are trying to optimize our sales funnel using marketing automation engine of webengage. It has helped us a lot in creating interactive journeys & nudge users towards their milestones.
2. Targeting users basis their behaviour & interaction with the platform has become much easier
3. Near zero product maintenance
What do you like best?
It makes it easy for non-technical people to implement surveys and pop-ups on website instead of asking engineers to create the code for it. It was also very easy to set up and doesn't need to be maintained.
What do you dislike?
It's overwhelming in terms of where to start--the interface isn't too clear and it's not clear how to troubleshoot when there's a problem on the site. An engineer might have to dig in to make sure it's implemented properly.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Recommended for teams who want to implement surveys on their own without waiting for engineers to launch and test. You only need an engineer to add the sdk to the codebase.

Engineers don't have to spend their time create pop-up surveys or feedback form. Usually there's a lot of copy changes with those things so it's nice that they can edit it themselves.
What do you like best?
The granularity in creating segments and targeting them with different channels. Automating targeting using relay / journeys
What do you dislike?
Need to have a wholesome view of a segment - like 20% of these people are from google-amp. They read politics content etc.
Response time in case of outages is very poor.
Development turn-around time and response to feature requests is not upto the mark

We have implemented webengage to engage the customer with the preferred content in their preferred channel and move them into the subscription channel.
