What do you like best?
Impact: Basically we always try to improve this number every week. It give us some indicator to improve the team's performance.
Risk metric: This feature is very useful when we need to track down regressions caused by new commits, usually the team will start to investigate the high-risk commit first.
What do you dislike?
No Public API: Currently there is no way to integrate WayDev with other software
Recommendations to others considering the product:
No On-Premise Installation: This could be a problem for some companies.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
We are a small startup. We use WayDev to track our impact and optimize our productivity during the course of development. For example:
- Whenever we see high churn rate, we know there is something wrong with our design.
- The commit logs can be useful to tracking down regression.
Overall, WayDev is a great addtion to our productivity toolchain so far. However, I find it a bit pricey for the features set, having modular pricing would be nice.

I love the fact that it has a trial version so one can try it first then purchase it afterwards.
It has awesome features and also it is user friendly

Previously i had problem with debugging my codes, i can now use Waydev to achieve all engineering works
What do you like best?
It has a user-friendly dashboard and allows maximum visibility into the performance of engineering teams. It helps team leads understand the relative performance of team members and assess their decisions on code base and ensure error-free integration of bitbucket/github projects. Our management has found it truly effective in analyzing work patterns of multiple teams at once
What do you dislike?
I found it a bit pricey considering the limited features. The loading speed is often challenging and I am unable to set goals with notifications/update.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
It is in the developmental stage at the moment but I am seeing it bring great success. I hope they upgrade it so it works well with big numbered teams and a better correlation between data and reports.
What do you like best?
My favourite feature is the dashboard with its inbuilt benchmarking capability, this enables us to compare our developers performance with others in market. It is also a great tool to be able to spot productivity problems and fix them quickly.
What do you dislike?
There are still a few little options that are not available in the product yet, that said, the team is very receptive to feedback and since I have been using the product I have seen it get better and better.

I absolutely recommend you give waydev a try, in my experience the product provides huge value and only continues to get better.

Compare our developers performance with others in market. It is also a great tool to be able to spot productivity problems and fix them quickly. Managing remote teams and knowing their productivity level is hugely important to me also.
