I paid 80$ to have an account in 2 hour. I deleted my account because I couldn’t add People to my team. I wanted a free trial but instead I suddently paid for a premium account, and they said they couldnt return the money back even though i didnt use the program at all, and deleted my account right after.

I was using the free service and decided to upgrade to benefit from the extra features. No sooner had I paid my $25 and I lost hours of work and was unable to save anymore. I politely requested a refund twice but they refused. I am now re-creating all my work in the online version of PowerPoint which is frankly far better.

I am a designer by trade and found Visme when I was running out of time to deliver an inforgraphic for work. Normally I would have just created what I needed in After Effects, but time was not on my side so I decided to give Visme a whirl. After spending about 2-3 hours in their free tier to figure out if I could get what I needed, I decided that it was worth the $49 to upgrade to a Business Plan for one month so that I could download my one asset as a video. On their price plan page, the Business Plan was the first tier that offered downloads as video and they listed no restrictions. I paid my $49 and went to download my project when I discovered that they only enable video downloads for social media graphics or presentations. There was no mention of this on their pricing page. None. Zip. Zero. So now I’m out $49, I didn’t have my project to turn in, and I still had to go back and design my asset in After Effects. I politely requested a refund because they misrepresented their services, and I got an email response that I felt was condescending. They asked me to “please show them where they said that an infographic was available for video download” so I sent screen grabs of their pricing page where it does NOT state that there are any restrictions on files to be downloaded as video format. I then received an email telling me that infographics are not video format friendly, which is just hilarious because one can easily make an After Effects infographic as a video file. What isn’t friendly is their software if they can’t set parameters to match video file size or codec. $49 is a lot of money to folks right now, and they absolutely were misleading and they absolutely show no sign of rectifying the situation other than sending me emails insulting my intelligence. I pay less than that per month for a subscription to the ENTIRE Adobe creative suite. I pay less than that per month for a subscription to Envato. I have no problem paying for services and subscriptions when it comes to making my life easier, but I will not pay for an advertised service that didn’t meet my expectation. I will be reporting the charge as fraud for advertised services not delivered, plus a copy of my correspondence. One should never trust a company that isn’t willing to acknowledge their flaws and correct the situation when they have failed their customers. I work as a director of digital content at a high level organization and I will make it my personal mission to tell my peers in the industry to avoid this company at all costs. It’s just a grimy way to operate business.
