You have to ask repeatedly to be "shown in the showcase" and even then, you might get a hit only once every 4-6 months. As a former consultant, I've been on multiple other hiring platforms that have weekly or monthly hits and the quality of the companies is 10x relative to those on Vettery. I stopped checking my profile because the "talent manager" doesn't care and never reaches out. Don't even waste your time setting up a profile.

My profile has been under review for over a month. I emailed them asking how much longer it would take and they replied saying 'no more than 30 days'. It's been over a month since I've signed up and upon signing in today I've had to resend my application which now is under review. This company has been affiliated with the school I studied at. I know other graduates from my cohort are experiencing the same issue.

Poor quality matches. You get a lot of spam requests with offers like $1000 for a Sr. SWE role!? There is no convenient way to update the expectations, poor customer support experience. In the interest of time and headache, it's best to avoid the platform.

Initially when my profile was listed I did see some interest from prospective employers but (perhaps because of current market conditions) I haven't had any further responses. One major reason I turn to vettery is because the recruitment model unlike linkedin, indeed, glassdoor is one where employers are able to find my profile and reach out to me direct (without me having to find them). I found in the past this model gave me much higher quality interviews. Recently I understand Vettery is attempting to introduce more traditional job search/recruitment features (providing me more tools to search through available employers). For me, this is a model I'm moving away from (or at least feel I have enough tools for from other competitive offerings). Would would provide more value to me as a candidate if it continues to focus on your candidate discovery model.
