WRITE A REVIEWI was promised a lot of the features were available in Veeqo and was constantly told it was suited to my needs. The free trial is pointless as you cannot even use many of the features. During sign up the staff member told me I can pay in one go and would get a discount (no mention of any contract). They confirmed I could cancel within 30 days and get a full refund if I wasn't happy. Coincidently this has now been removed from their website. Upon signing up I found several flaws in the software. They also did not have many of the features which they said they did have.Upon contacting Veeqo I was told that these features are not available and would be implemented soon and they had no idea why the initial staff member had advised me these features were available. I wanted it to print invoices and courier labels by sku and for it to display the product sku in the shipping console so I could manually enter the weights and dimensions. Currently all it displays is the buyers name which is pointless. None of this was available. I called to cancel and the staff member said that it was fine as new customers can cancel within 30 days and get a full refund, I had only signed up 2 days earlier. However I was contacted by the CEO, Matt Warren, who said they couldn't refund me as I had paid for the whole year and had automatically entered into a contract. I had told him that I did not sign any contract and your colleagues confirmed that I could cancel within 30 days. I was not told I was committing to a years contract and I was misled. However the ceo's manner in dealing with customers is terrible. The ceo then chose to avoid me for several weeks despite me contacting Veeqo staff every single day. I then decided to open a chargeback claim with my bank after which miraculously Veeqo decided to refund me the full amount.I would not use this company or recommend them to anyone. They are overpriced and the service is terrible. The platform looks fancy but it cannot do the basics things you want it to. You only have to read the suggestions sections on the veeqo forum to see that they constantly make promises but do not fulfil them. There are a lot of customers complaining there and this is how they attract new customers, by misleading them! Their reviews online aren't that great either. I have now moved to OrderHub who charge a fraction of what these con artists charge and the service is amazing. Their software does what Veeqo promises and much more. I would give Veeqo stars in negative if I could for what they have put me through.
Absolutely disgusted with Veeqo and their handling of us. After spending hours of time qualifying our exact technical set up and needs, on the telephone and via email, we were told that we needed to pay a setup fee to get live with Veeqo. They took our money (hundreds of pounds) then came back and said part of our tech wouldn't work with their solution!Our team were miffed by the amount of time and energy we'd spent communicating our technical set up from the very first call to avoid something like this, to then be told it wouldn't work, but we decided it would just be best to move on and asked for our money back. After spending weeks messing us around we finally got a response citing a clause in their terms and conditions "4.4 When signing up to Veeqo, all new customers will be charged a set-up fee (also referred to as an "on-boarding fee"). The cost of the set-up fee varies depending on each pricing plan, per our pricing page. The set up fee is non-refundable, and required to be paid in full before we start the on-boarding process."What Veeqo don't seem to realise is that we haven't set up or on-boarded, so withholding a fee on this specifically for set up and on-boarding is legally and morally wrong. Absolute scam from start to finish having a sales guy on the phone for a few hours telling us everything is fine for integration, to then pay our money and be told it can't be done.Be very careful because these direct quotes from their response should be heeded "Unfortunately, I am unable to authorise any refunds as this would be contrary to our Terms & Conditions as laid out here. Clause 4.4 clearly states that this initial fee is non-refundable and applies to all our customers."*Note that we're not an active customer and haven't been because they couldn't get us live"Additionally, all new customers are asked to read and understand our terms and conditions as part of the written contract we have in place. When you signed the Statement of Work (SoW), you agreed to this. (Please refer to Section 6 of the SoW)." * Again take heed of this - even if you get no work you have to pay them for lying to you"We always make an effort to ensure that ALL customers go live on the platform successfully, however, unfortunately we were unable to do this in your instance with the best of intentions."* So after taking our brief from the very first phone call, it now turns out they didn't take it properly and their attitude is ... well we tried (or lied?), thanks for the money."You are of course entitled to take any action you wish and we will submit mitigating evidence in our defence accordingly."* Quite happy to sit behind legal fluff"I wish you all the best in your future endeavours."* Wish us the best at being mugged off? or throwing more money down the drain?What does it say about the kind of company who will take money from another business in this fashion, to then not deliver any of it. Scammers. DO NOT TRUST is our advice. Hopefully they had a nice company night out on our money.
A total waste of time and £1000s. It was problem after problem from day 1.We invested weeks and a lot of money trying to make this work but the software is simply not good enough and far too confusing when used with eBay and Amazon - particularly when you sell internationally.Charged us for our second month before the implementation was complete. No thank you!
Having been a Veeqo user since 2016, I would like to share my experience of dealing with Veeqo.We signed up to Veeqo in November 2016 at the time the Xero integration was basic. However, we were informed by Veeqo that better Xero integration was planned, so we signed up on the back of this promise. The better Xero integration isn't live as I type this review in 2020. We were also offered a discount of 20% for life; this discount has disappeared from our invoices at some point over the years.The reason we had to stop using Veeqo was their database had somehow changed our products to be variations of other products. This caused packing slips to show the wrong product names and also created an issue with stock levels on our website.We raised the database issue with Veeqo via the telephone. However, it took several telephone calls to have them understand the problem we were having.Veeqo is very good at sending emails from Zendesk to the point that you eventually start to ignore emails from Veeqo. For instance, if you telephone them, you'll get an email for every call.I contacted Veeqo by telephone to cancel our subscription and I was told that I had to email to request a cancellation form. Having cancelled our subscription that we've been unable to use for the past six months. I asked if we could have some of our subscription fees returned. I was told a flat no.I was told that Veeqo had tried to work with us to resolve their issue with our product listings. The first advice we had was to delete everything and start again; this would be time-consuming. We were also sent an email suggesting using scripts to recreate our product kits. However, this email got lost in the deluge of Zendesk emails from Veeqo.
We have been using Veeqo for the past 5 months and to start with it seemed like the answer to all our prayers. However, over the past couple of months there constantly seems to be an issue with the reporting side of things. We are never able to download accurate data from the system and it takes us days every month to reconcile the (wrong) information from Veeqo with our sales data from individual platforms. It's incredibly tedious and takes far longer than our previous manual method. We have raised this with Veeqo again and again and again and we simply don't have any answers. We get passed from various people, a second line engineer, a sales manager, someone else. Each time we think it will get resolved and it just doesn't. Beyond frustrating and makes any of the other positive features just not worth it because it the customer service is so poor and frankly, mostly non existent.
