What do you like best?
The templates in Adestra are fairly easy to use and manipulate once you have them setup. This keeps emails uniform while still allowing creativity and customization without needing HTML knowledge and skills. The support team is helpful.
What do you dislike?
Adestra reports are not easily manipulated and exported for further analysis. There is no way to compare campaigns. Exporting options are limited and sometimes require a page by page look at the list. Sending emails at a set date / time is difficult since it is only set for one timezone. Options to make simple additions to templates do not exist and require support, which is not available for all time zones during business hours. "Bounce" lists do not seem to be accurate and can be frustrating. Automation could also be better.

Research the software, test it, and work with their customer services team to ensure that the product will meet your needs.

Adestra is a fairly simple platform that allows our team to send various email campaigns ranging from marketing to customer services. Customer Service is general helpful and responsive, and we have been able to integrate our branding / style to ready-to-go templates.
What do you like best?
The platform is very easy to use and provides you with what you need.
What do you dislike?
Not being able to see a better breakdown of engagement by ISP.

Have the interface being so easy to use, it allows for a pretty speedy process of getting used to.

The immediate support on the Chat format is always very helpful. No problem is too small or big
What do you dislike?
I have had trouble with image sizing on the newsletter template - it's never quite right. We needed a slight change of template structure and I was a bit surprised by how high the quote for it was.

With the changes in the way people consume information, it's important for us to have an effective newsletter reach and Adestra helps to facilitate this.
What do you like best?
I like the support that we have had while learning the software. Also, we have found that the software has a much greater capacity than we imagined.
What do you dislike?
There are some aspects of the reporting that need to be improved. The heatmap feature should allow a user to view multiple launches at once, rather than just one. Exporting detailed reports out of Adestra is messy.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
We're trying to create a returning customer base. Adestra allows us to do a lot of dynamic personalization and AB testing to reach each customer in a unique way.
What do you like best?
The segmentation of workspaces, projects, and campaigns is great. We have ours split up by which team member is sending the emails, so it makes dashboards a lot less cluttered and you only see the campaigns that you sent out.
I like that there is an automation function; I haven't used it too much yet, but it's handy to not have to go back in and set up replies to each email.
Their support is great - you can chat, email, call and they respond very quickly; they do also have a "FAQ" of sorts to walk you through how to everything.
What do you dislike?
The UI is not great; it looks old and it's not always intuitive as to what things mean. You have to learn all of the terminology that doesn't always make sense and it's really confusing at first if you are switching from another tool.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
There's a lot that Adestra can do, but it takes time to learn all of the capabilities and how they work. Make sure you have time to learn and implement everything. Make sure your lists are as clean as possible especially in the beginning because you have to build up your sender reputation; we didn't and we ended up having to start over.

We are using Adestra to send emails on behalf of our customers. It's been great having set pricing and not just increasing our spend each month because we added new people to email.
