What do you like best?
Ease of use can be a bonus during use with unicheck

Clunky system mainframe can sometimes leave you waiting on information to load

Customer filtering information works fast during quiet periods however as it picks up systems slow

I can't think of anything that I like best about this program because of the comparison to better programs. I work at an online public school that relies on our plagiarism checker programs to ensure that the work our students turn in is legit. We had another program that worked really well and had useful tools for feedback, but then we switched to Unicheck and it doesn't fulfill its purpose.
What do you dislike?
This plagiarism checker does not reliably catch plagiarism. There are whole websites (CourseHero, for instance) that are left out of the report. It is more effective for me to use a Google search than to rely on Unicheck. It does occasionally find some instances of plagiarism, but it can't be relied upon for that purpose like some others can. It also doesn't have any feedback features that allow educators to respond to the work they're seeing.

It finds some plagiarism in student work. But very little.
First of all i asked a question regarding a problem. The explained it to me very clear, however the instruction i followed didn't help solve the problem. When i told the customer service lady that. She didn't reply. I waited for over an hour. no reply. I did not like the quality of there customer service.

Quickly check to make sure your work is not inaccurately cited by uploading your document.

Only 5 PAGES allowed in the free version. Over 5 pages will not be free.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Limit your number of pages to 5 if you do not want to have to pay for additional pages to be checked.

I check to see that my report was properly cited and that the percentage of phrases that were exactly the same as my sources was low.
The software was used by my university, and claimed that I had plagiarized 31% of a paper. I wrote my paper from scratch, and even demonstrated to my teacher where I found my information and how it was dissimilar from the wording of my paper. This is the only plagiarism checker that checks against the web and gave a false positive on the same paper. It claims to be free for students but it isn't unless your teacher sets up an account for you. As more papers get put into their system and online there is a greater and greater chance that it will falsely accuse of plagiarism.
