What do you like best?
The idea behind it. If it actually worked it would be a brilliant software
What do you dislike?
Everything about it's functionality.
It's horrible, it breaks down constantly, the staff is incompetent and claim an issue is fixed when it's partly fixed or not fixed at all, very unprofessional.
Basic changes like reassigning an account from one CSM to another take around 24 hours to be visible.
Large data updates (a week's worth of data) made before a weekend are usually not visible until next week.
It doesn't support multiple tabs in 2021, if you make a change in 1 browser tab you have to refresh every other tab to see the changes, if they even take place.
We have to manually calculate health scores because of totango errors that show a much lower health score.
The list goes on. Everything breaks down at one point or another. Slow and bug-filled is the best description of Totango.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Skip it, don't waste your time, I will do my best to show my employers they need to change services.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
I'm not sure if this is an actual question or a joke because Totango is currently causing more problems than it's solving.
What do you like best?
The ability to create touchpoints, though a basic feature of all CRMs, is nice.
What do you dislike?
Basically everything else. The interface is the opposite of intuitive. The app itself is buggy. Basically, the app feels and acts like a college CS student's senior project.

I would look at alternatives.

I've been able to add touchpoints and check on customers' login frequency.

There are a lot of features that could be very useful if I knew how to use them.
What do you dislike?
Not integrated well. I wish the tasks would coincide with my calendar so I could get prompted to follow up. Now I waste too much time updating my calendar and my tasks. There are so many features I don't know where to start.

Task management and notes on accounts.
What do you like best?
Lots of features, some of which are more helpful than others. It is nice to have lots of tools available on hand in the suite.
What do you dislike?
Lots of product updates that are not good. Product has accessibility issues for blind users.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is a good product if you don't have any means of organizing customers. If you already have tools for this, consider if it is worth getting a customer success tool like Totango.

Running segments of customers based on different parameters, which we can't accomplish with our proprietary CRM.

What do you like best?
It's super easy to use and has a lot of different functions to use across all areas of the company.
What do you dislike?
Sometimes it takes a while to load, or does not load at all, which is super frustrating. Usually after waiting for about 15 minutes it will go back to normal.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
Currently we are using it to manage the way we reach out to brands on our platform. We are able to categorize them into different groups and review them based on their activity or history on our marketing platform. Its a great way for all the information to be in one place. One great benefit is that it will give us reminders when tasks need to be completed and when we need to follow up on them.
