What do you like best?
Honestly it is a very mediocre application. It does have a chrome button that is kinda handy for punching in and punching out. It keeps time, I guess that's the point.
What do you dislike?
I have a team of 5 but decided to bring on 2 student interns to do some testing for our development team, bringing us over the 6 employee threshold for the free version. Of the entire team, I am the only full-time employee and don't get paid, so I probably didn't really need a timekeeping app, but I figured, if it makes life easier, let's go for it. I opted to save some money and buy the year up front (Big Mistake The first month is free and was spent trying to get everyone used to using Toggl, which they never did. It really only stuck with my CTO who had used it with another company in the past so he was already used to it, everyone else to this day just plugs their hours into it at the end of the week/month, which could easily be handled with an email. Not that any of that is Toggl's fault, but there just was not a lot of value for MY team. The problem, however, was when I added a user to replace someone who had left, and forgot to take the old person off the list right away, boom get hit with another 100 dollars for that new employees year in advance. I emailed support (They do not offer phone support at all to let them know that after looking at this new charge and how little my employees use the service, I'd really like to downgrade to the free version and get a prorated refund. They informed me that they do not give refunds, even though it says on their website you can downgrade anytime. That actually is true you can press the button that says downgrade, but it won't actually downgrade until you're credits have run out. I asked to have a manager call me, and was informed that they would never do that as they don't make phone calls. They said they'd speak to a supervisor about a refund. No one ever got back to me. I emailed again asking to speak to a supervisor and someone emailed me back simply saying they don't give refunds and citing some fine print in their terms that of course, I agreed to when I signed up. I did agree, so it's not a scam, but boy they must not be very confident in their product. My company needs money more than anything, and I would NEVER refuse a pro-rated refund to an unhappy user.
Recommendations to others considering the product
I would never recommend a product with such poor support to others. tricking people into prepaying with a discount then refusing a refund when they are unhappy is just unreal in SaaS

Timekeeping, none.
What do you like best?
Its a good application, but the Customer Service always tries to change your plan. I have around 30 members and one of the ask for premium accounts and automatically they change all the accounts. We didnt use it and 6 months later we became aware of the change and we have not been able to go back. We have asked for the money back and they do not give them.
What do you dislike?
It can not be that someone from the team asks for a demo and they change the whole team to Premium which is a lot of money. They do not take care of the customer and do not show proof that we approved the change.

Be aware of the questions as they changer to upgrade and bill you without autorization

it marks you the time but it does not allow you to cross it with a billing tool to see the profitability of the projects. The integration with Jira is very bad tb.
What do you like best?
I suppose it’s good for accounting and those who need to see reports on how many hours our spent on projects and cost analysis etc because there’s a ton of details that users can or have to complete.
What do you dislike?
There’s a ton of manual labor that goes into tracking your time against projects. For example, if you worked on the same project for 8hrs a day for three days then you would have to manually select the day from a calendar (that starts on Monday and ends Sunday so that’s sometimes confusing when your in a rush) manually enter the time of 8:00, then manually enter AM, manually enter the time of 5:00 then manually enter PM, then manually enter a project description, manually enter a project code, manually enter a tag... and if the next day was the same exact, manually enter the same exact info.

Time keeping. No benefits to realize, it takes a lot of time to track time.
I signed in to learn about the app as it was recommended by the IB Program. But I did not like it. So I wanted to erase the account, I had not used the system and I realized it was not for me.But before I could check how to erase the account I started receiving emails from the company. So I asked the agent to please erase my account via email. I received an email saying I have to go through the system to erase the account and follow some guidelines. I accessed the guideline and followed the instructions but it was not written how to close the account. So I contacted the agent again, and he sent me a new guideline, as the first one was not going to really help me close the account. When I finally did that. The agent continued sending me emails. I asked him to please erase mi account data from his database and all databases, and not contact me again. I continued receiving emails, saying that the process may take a month or longer. I felt not only frustrated but harrassed. Terrible practices.
What do you like best?
It is going for seeing how long you are spending on a task.it does have good features

It can be expensive and doesn’t include things like calendars and scheduling
