For several months, I have been using Timecamp with Asana. The integration worked flawlessly. It has been fully functional between 9/28/18 and 3/12/19 on the free plan.
Today, I logged in to my asana account, grabbed a task and clicked "Start Timer"
NOW, I get an error message stating that I have to pay for the integration.
PROS & CONS
What are the best aspects of this product?
Timecamp offers fairly simple time tracking. This is great if it's just one user, but once you start adding more users, coordinating and communicating using their tool may become painful.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
Customer service, cancelling the account.
You can't just "Cancel" your subscription in their system. You have to remove all of your users and downgrade to a free plan. Even though we had previously cancelled and got rid of the old credit card, their system pulled the new card number via credit card services, reactivated our account, and charged us for another annual plan. They then went on to accusingly claim that we changed the credit card number. They then refused to cancel the account or issue a refund.

I have wasted my time and have been using their desktop app for almost a year now, I was very satisfied with the reports they were giving me on the management of my own time and kept saying that their solo free forever plan with no billing or "professional" features would still allow you to see in which apps you spent most of your time.They even still have that as an argument over why you should pick them over the competition, and it's still currently on their "pricing page".However to my surprise, they silently removed all the good features from solo (the free plan), limiting your access to your own tracking data to an unreadable timesheet that provides absolutely no insight to where your time is spent... With no way to even see the reports you had seen in the past, making all your past and future data completely useless...After confirmation from their customer support about the silent feature cut I have now moved to Toggl instead. Let's hope they have some respect for their future customers at least...
What do you like best?
Ease of use and monthly reporting. The monthly reporting gives us great insight into the work our consultants are completing

minimal feature set, the product should have much more with regards to feature set and actual project management rather than just time tracking

The program seems easy to use, one click and the timer starts.
What do you dislike?
TimeCamp does not pick up the task from Asana - it is not specific enough to let me know how much time is spent on each client/task. I wanted to be able to track tasks for specific clients and track time spent on each client.
Recommendations to others considering the product
Make sure TimeCamp integrates with the program you want to use it with. If using for tasks on specific projects, might want to consider other options.

It is a good tool if you want to know who is on the computer and how long they have been signed in...
