With the partnership between Talech and Elavon, there were so many issues technically and customer service wise that we had continuous problems for a year until we literally stopped trying. May times both companies were contacted about several issues and it was a nightmare. One side did not know what the other side did, who could help and we also received incorrect information from one employee that another corrected and back and forth. In my opinion, Costco should not be dealing in Talech/Elavon marriage in Canada at all. It was a horrible experience and everyone that asked about our POS, I told them that it looks nice but is a horrible system. So, to not have customer service and tech support that can at least have some movement on issues experienced it causes nothing but bad comments.

All I’ve had trouble is with your equipment going bad on a regular basis and nobody helping me or replacing or charging me to replace equipment I just get in within weeks it’s ridiculous what I’ve been going through

I have no contact person to call!! There is 0% communication!! I have been trying to reorder gift cards for over a month and have gotten 0 help!!! Terrible company and I am ready to switch!!-1star!!

I have had this system operational for approximately one year, at this point we’ve got about 16 to 18 hours troubleshooting on the phone. Plus countless more hours of trying to figure out how to make it work on our own when it fails. It will suddenly not take a credit card payment, it has never done a return for us even while on the phone with support trying to make it happen, suddenly the cash drawer won’t open, or it won’t print receipts. We end up trying to reboot the machine turning things off turning things back on disconnecting reconnecting sometimes after two or three tries it works also there’s a couple of different methods that we have made notes on, we spend far too much time trying to keep this thing going.They have totally dropped the ball on me as a client. Their support technicians are excellent and are doing their very best but they don’t know have much to work with.
