Pretty simple to generate an invoice, UX is nice.

I was told that they would be able to link banks which was and continues to be false. They said they had problems and it would take at most a month more. I waited more than 6 weeks and then got another email it would take an ADDITIONAL 6 weeks. So 12 weeks - 3x longer than it was supposed to take. I've pinged customer service multiple times about multiple issues with the software and the canned responses, basically treating me like I'm the idiot, just waste my time. I understand they are a small business and trying to get off the ground but I expected more just based off the marketing. I even jumped on one of their group phone calls and my question was NEVER ANSWERED! Why even take questions from your audience if you don't care enough to answer them.

2. Not providing compensation for clients, especially international clients that purchased their "Lifetime" deals, basically, the people behind the company said that: purchasing a lifetime deal is a risk ( yeah we all know that, but we expect more, it is not even 2 years yet)

3. I am not sure about everyone else (there are probably a hundred others that purchased this deal), but being an international client and not getting compensation after only more than a year for their so-called "LifeTime deal", I felt like getting scammed.

Hard to write something positve about a company that does not care about it's users

Bought a lifetime deal of the Billy software when it was founded a few years back. The founder Joshua Waldman promised that Billy was here to stay. Now my account is being terminated because new owners will not account users from my country (Hong Kong). Joshua still seems to be the director (at least he is listed as this in their social media profiles - even the sale was as per 1/1-2019). No refund - no help with migration. Just goodbye - we keep your money. I understand buying a lifetime deal can be risky and the company could close - but this is a joke and completely undermine the trust is Joshua and Billy.

From what I could tell by using Billy, the capabilities that it had were easy to use.

I got Billy as an accounting/expense tracking software for my expenses. It doesn't have the capability to do much of that and instead seems to be more aimed at invoices. I don't need invoices so I rarely use Billy. I'm sure it's good for invoices but I wish it had better expense tracking, such as the ability to tag categories of expenses and state which bank account or credit card was used to pay for the expense, etc. As it is, Billy is not the program for me since it doesn't do what I thought it could do based on the AppSumo description.

From what I can tell, Billy actually does what you want. However, we previously didn't have good training and it was easy to get confused if you weren't used to our interface. Why not come back now and see if we can help you?
