What do you like best?
StatusCast is awesome for displaying our transit alerts to students.
What do you dislike?
It was a little tricky to get the code snippets running on our site.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
Satuscast provides a quick solution to editing the code on our website. Before we’d have to take down a site and add the new code. Now we just type the message and it’s there.
What do you like best?
We're able to better manage client and provider customer service experiences thanks to StatusCast. We select which incidents generate notices and which are "post only". As an externally hosted resource, communication is available even when our applications are not.
What do you dislike?
We have found it difficult to manage subscriber lists within StatusCast. It is a rather manual process to sort through users. In addition, the use of StatusCast for multiple applications makes it more difficult to target messages to specific components.

Great product. Our account rep has been very helpful in responding to our questions.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
When applications encounter issues, customer care centers become inundated with inquiries from clients, field support, providers, and internal resources...a time when resources are already strained with identification and remediation. StatusCast has allowed us to alert our stakeholders of issues quickly following detection, keep them informed, and notify them of resolution in an efficient manner. Our application management staff is freed to do the job of greatest importance: returning the application to normalcy.
What do you like best?
I think it makes sense, it covers the relevant bases for a notification to the customer base we have
What do you dislike?
I'm not sure there's anything I dislike, the product works as expected and we haven't had any problems with it working or being available! We're happy with it!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Read your notices before you submit them! But that wouldn't be the fault of StatusCast, just basic proofing.

We are solving the problem of letting our customers know what issues we are having and when, and the potential impact involved
What do you like best?
Great way to let people know how the status of your services. With a Little work we manage to keep notifications flowing automatically via Email and Twitter using MS Flow
What do you dislike?
Not much, only that ther should be a better integration with popular Support services like Zendesk. A there should be a wider pricing tier. ALso maybe let the client use its own domain

You must see it for yourself, its plain simple. in my case people only use statuscast to view the status, they receive the notifications via other methods

Informing people sooner before the calls start when an IT service is down.
What do you like best?
Statuscast is simple to use and administer and has a nice integration suite... But the one thing that I like best is their responsiveness. The StatusCast team has been fantastic to work with, answering every question, taking feedback and adjusting any time necessary. Truly customer focused.
What do you dislike?
Hard to put dislikes at this point as most everything that we have brought up, they have either had an answer for or have since added capability. To pick one thing that would be nice is more Admin control over users in the native tool so, for example, I could add or modify member information (like components, contact preferences, etc) especially for VIP users. Even with this, the StatusCast team has always been willing to help us do what was needed.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Even if it does not meet your exact needs, give it a shot. Tell them what they are lacking and give them a chance to solve it. That has been my experience.

Our challenge was trying to get to more directed communication around changes, issues and outages inside the company. We wanted to make communication opt in so that users weren't flooded with information they didn't need or want. StatusCast has done exactly that.
