What do you like best?
Customer service with SlickText has been great. We've received almost immediate responses to questions. They actually reached out to us once or twice just to make sure everything was running smoothly.
What do you dislike?
The only feature we'd like to see that SlickText doesn't offer, is the ability to view and respond right from your phone (rather than accessing through the SlickText dashboard or email).
Recommendations to others considering the product:
As a lead generation tool, SlickText has performed exactly as we expected. I'd recommend this for any company looking for a basic platform to take in and manage text leads.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
We wanted to give customers an easy way to contact us, without necessarily needing an associate there with them. Since launching SlickText, we've gotten about 3 additional leads every week that we may have otherwise missed to a competitor.
What do you like best?
SlickText is certainly the most user friendly app I've seen. Navigating through the menus and creating your campaign should not take more then a couple of minutes. On top of being user friendly, SlickText offers a variety of marketing tools to help launch multiple campaigns. Stay on top of your responses and download the mobile app where you get notifications and the ability to respond to campaign messages.
What do you dislike?
If you are looking for a thorough type of messaging software, SlickText may not be it. Though it is able to integrate with major CRM software, the integration is limited to opt-ins, opt-outs, and sending messages.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This software is a must try when you are implementing SMS in your marketing campaigns as a way to try the response rate, however, if you need something more thorough, you may need to upgrade to more advanced software where integration can be customized to your needs. If you are a self-directed marketer or you are in charge of in-house marketing for a small business. This software will also help you get familiarized with the basics to market to a growing demographic of communicating solely by messaging
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
The great majority of your prospect applicants now communicate through email and SMS. SlickText will solve the immediate need until you determine if its right for you as it is built or search for more advanced software with customized integration for your CRM software.
What do you like best?
SlickText is really is a great product for the price. The app makes this service easy to send out notifications from the home when getting to the office is not an option. Having the website is another great option for when the app just isn't cooperating. I love the scheduling feature and have used it multiple times to send reminders on the weekend when I'm off the clock, but know what I want to say. Overall, the price is reasonable for the service as many others will charge much more for much less.
What do you dislike?
There a few restrictions. We have tried to use SlickText to send out notifications or reminders to individual committees or teams and in order to do so effectively, we need to set up multiple Textwords, which adds to the price after 2. Then the other issue is when someone does set up for multiple textwords, they receive notifications from all of the textwords and even some from other musicians and people they may have signed up with, all from the same phone number which becomes confusing. They do offer a solution, but it is a large jump in price and moves it way outside of our price range. Our solution is to begin each text with our name, but that limits our already limited words. The amount of thought it takes to get a message sent in the limited words available and make sure everyone knows where it's coming from, is really annoying.

If you are looking for an easy to use service for notifying large groups quickly, SlickText is a wonderful solution.

Nearly everyone receives texts and will look at them as soon as they receive them. We used to just send out emails or a large mailing which was incredibly time consuming and expensive. With SlickText, we are able to reach out to more of our congregation more effectively, quicker and easier. Not to mention it is also saves us money in the long run.
