What do you like best?
I like the overall aesthetic of SkyTouch, such as the visuals upon logging in (showing vacancy, check-ins, occupancy, check-outs for the day, etc). It helps get a general overview upon beginning one's shift. I also enjoy the ease of moving between the Sky Touch platform and Booking.com, Flight delays, etc (other external sites). I found it to be organized well and generally clear. I also like that the bookings from third party websites are sent over directly and populate the SkyTouch system on their own. (Although there were a few instances where they did not go through in time, and the guest showed up before the reservation got a chance to send through to the SkyTouch system.
What do you dislike?
I did not like the lingo used, such as "guest folio", etc. Certain things were not clear when I first started using the program. It is easy to understand once you know what these things mean, but it felt like they could have come up with some more accessible terms for people who did not take a course in the program. I also to this day find the rate management aspects extremely difficult to understand. Luckily I am not a general manager so I do not have to deal with this anyhow, but it seems way too complicated for what it is. Additionally, the method of charging guests seems a bit counter-intuitive. Instead of it being a straight forward page, you have to add a guest "folio", add the method payment, and then explain what the method of payment is for. It could definitely be more user friendly in this aspect.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Be sure to learn as much as possible before trying to use the program. It is not the kind of program you can just walk in and understand from day 1 . You legitimately have to get all of the training to understand the specifics of this program in the type of detail needed to properly implement the usages.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
SkyTouch Hotel made it easy to make edits and amendments to reservations, which is good considering the industry. It is important to be able to make changes to a reservation such as changing payment methods, adding guest notes, charging for incidentals, etc. Whenever I thought it would be impossible to go back and make a change, I realized that there was a pathway to changing it using the SkyTouch Hotel OS system, which I appreciate very much.
What do you like best?
It is a very easy to use software with a user friendly platform that has all the advanced features that customers demand in a hotel property. The software is suited for any size and type of hospitality business that can be customized to suit your business needs. It is affordable and deployment is done with ease.
What do you dislike?
Most internet and cloud based softwares have a weakness in data security. This too isn't left out since intruders are able to access important information which is not a good thing to your business. Also internet based software mostly depend on network to perform its operations, meaning there will be a slowed performance when the network is weak.

Manage all operations of your hotel or hospitality business easily from any where thereby enhancing quality of services.

Optimize exposure thus help gain more customers which is a benefit to any business because there will be an increased revenue collection. This way profit in greatly enhanced. Customer loyalty is also enhanced since service delivery is efficient and up to standard. This is also enabled by the power of being in control of all staff and guest activities from anywhere. This way visibility and transparency is also not left out. Helped reduce risks of booking ,rebooking or over booking as operations have been streamlined. This means that guest rooms are not double booked at the same time.
What do you like best?
Skytouch is so easy to learn and also to teach. It has just about anything our team could need. The support staff is usually very efficient and helpful.
What do you dislike?
Occasionally goes down for a small period of time and could have some more features for email blasts, texts, etc for communicating with guests.

Give more options for communicating with the guest right through this software so everything is all in one place.

It’s simple and easy to learn only took me about 2-3 days and learned everything on the system
What do you dislike?
Nothing to really dislike it’s the easiest system I’ve worked with in hotels

Just play around on the system, I promise this will be the easiest way to train someone who has never done front desk. Too easy
