What do you like best?
The level of support Simon Data provides is the best I've ever received from a vendor. They are quick to answer, always available and are great to work with.
What do you dislike?
The platform requires SQL based queries for datasets and segmentation. It makes it difficult to get a new hire up to speed on the platform, especially if they do not have SQL knowledge. Simon Data is missing some critical B2B functions like automation, reporting, forms, lead scoring etc.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
The primary problem Simon Data is solving for is customer reach. Simon Data is able to extract data from almost any object in your CRM and merge and manipulate the data for advanced segmentation. Simon Data is able to do this well.
What do you like best?
The fact that it allows me to manage the information related to the marketing of my company in a safe, easy and fast way is a very valuable option, thanks to this I have been able to design and execute a large number of tasks and very digital marketing strategies. impactful for my clients, generating good results after their implementation, its ease of use is something that is enormously surprising since it allows me to do everything in a fairly simple way, in terms of performance the application is quite excellent, the fact that it allows me to perform multiple tasks It is also quite useful when using it since I can do something simple such as segmenting my target audience, as well as somewhat more complex tasks such as carrying out study and segmentation tests in relation to the activities carried out in a much simpler way.
What do you dislike?
Basically none, during my use I have not had any problems while I have decided to use this application which for me turned out to be quite a surprise since with other types of similar applications I never got the results that I expected, so I did not have my Very high expectations with this system, however it worked perfectly for me.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
It has been a great help to improve all the marketing of my company by allowing me to collect with great simplicity and precision information of interest to my clients that allow me to design and create strategies based on the results obtained, in such a way that my campaigns have a significant impact on my customer segment.
What do you like best?
As a smaller product, you get better service than established big players, and your feedback actively becomes part of their product development. Because you're dealing with their team over Slack, it's really easy to come up with creative solutions and they work hard to understand your business, instead of giving out rote examples.
What do you dislike?
They're working on this, but right now it's not easy to visualise the customer journey. Everything's in separate flows.

We feed multiple data sources into our email platforms, which would've been challenging otherwise.
What do you like best?
The native integrations are incredible - they allow us to seamlessly connect to different tools/channels in a customer's journey to better target them. It has definitely decreased the amount of time that it takes for both acquisition and retention marketing teams to push audiences to various channels, and has saved the analytics team valuable time as they no longer have to create custom segments in Looker.
What do you dislike?
My only complaint is that the on-boarding flow was a bit confusing. I know the tool is not meant to be 100% self-service, forcing the client to rely on the customer success team for setup, but it was unclear where things were meant to be self-service vs. where I needed to pull in the Simon team. Once it's up and running, though, it is seamless and easy to use!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Be very clear about your use cases. If you are looking for advanced predictive modeling or user stitching, then this is not the tool for you - if you are looking for something to empower teams throughout your organization to automate and self-serve, then this will change the game!

We no longer have to rely on the data and analytics team to pull customer segments from Looker and upload them to our ESP (Bronto). We are also expanding customization and audience syncs across channels with new integrations like Facebook and AdWords, both of which hadn't leveraged custom audiences prior to us onboarding simon. Simon has also allowed us to more seamlessly integrate email engagement data into our segmentation and targeting, as it is something that we were unable to do prior.
We are also leveraging Simon to do custom email recommendations - prior to this, our emails have been a bit more simplistic - but now, with all of our data in one place, we can really use dynamic templating to target customers!
What do you like best?
Unique dashboard of key metrics and methods of integrating data quickly and efficiently set Simon Data apart from the crowd. We pull in data from multiple sources and Simon joins it all together so we can use it to create smarter more effective customer segments and and analyze cohorts. I like that Simon also includes the workflow tools for creating outbound campaigns and managing triggers.
What do you dislike?
Would like to see more campaign level reporting / analysis tools, ability to leverage dynamic content more easily in campaigns. Currently, they lack visual tools for creating customer journeys although all the capabilities are there.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Consider what data sources you need to integrate and what channels you want to communicate to customers across. These are Simon's sweet spot. Also consider any loyalties you have to existing channel tools in your marketing stack for email, push messaging, etc. and make sure open API integrations are possible so you can hook them into Simon.

Data centralization, single view of the customer, centralized campaign workflow across channels. Simon Data is a cornerstone of our marketing stack and integrates
