What do you like best?
There is nothing I personally like about Shippo, but if you like terrible service and nonexistent reps, Shippo is for you!
What do you dislike?
Shippo promised features upon onboarding, and after signing on with Shippo, those promised features were nonexistent. It is impossible to get a hold of anyone besides the sales team. Shippo's sales team is VERY responsive, but once they hook you, all communication stops. We had to reach out to the sales team on many occasions in order to get our concerns addressed. Additionally, their data submission is a nightmare. On numerous occasions we successfully submitted shipment data to our carriers using Shippo, and Shippo unsuccessfully transferred the data, resulting in many packages being undeliverable or being returned to us.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Read the fine print and confirm all features they claim to offer are actually available

starting up requires you to 1) authorize by email then 2) answer 3 questions which they claim is their way to ensure no one is using your business falsely. this makes no sense, usps or other carriers aren't doing it why should you? If our names match on the credit card that has to be in place, why do they need our ID, our business address and details anyway. seems way too invasive, shady and highly inefficient. not to mention you can't get in contact for support by phone, you have to fill a form and then some scheduling for a week later. are you serious? this is targeted for business?

not sure why their service is so difficult and asks for so much information. i feel its not transparent, hard to get support, inefficient process. not keen on sending details of my ID with photo and having no one be able to help you during the same day. wasted a lot of time searching for help and getting the account activated. what is great about stamps.com is that you can start right away without any barrier. these unnecessary steps make the experience very bumpy and no support given right away so customers are left frustrated and behind in all their work. really upset

They have hidden fees, charged me 42$ for a regular label, when.I was delivering in same country(Canada) and near my state. I've send similar packages with Amazon, and. paid 5-6$, also with a day ago paid 45$ for a delivery from America(that's justified the price, paid by DHL). So I don't explain how I've paid 42$ just for a label, they don't have a number to call them and they. answer at mails after 3 days. Don't use them if you don't want pay a huge amount for a regular service.
Shippo advertises low international DHL rates but then charges you with "Remote Area and Dimensional Surcharges" weeks later. For instance, we sent two shipment to Tasmania at an advertised rate of $100.25 & $39.14. But then two weeks later they charged us an additional $47.92 for a (Remote Area Service and Dimensional Surcharge) for one package and an additional $40.00 for a (Remote Area Service) for the other one. So advertised rates of $139.39, but actual charges of $227.31When I asked Shippo about it, they sent me a 234 page pdf from DHL on remote service areas. Buyer beware.
I could not create a return shipping label for the same city i am in and customer service took 3 days to respond with no answer and no solution. They even didn't read the question and the issue i am having. Terrible customer service. I will not be using Shippo again.
