What do you like best?
Depending on how your system is set up SAP can be extremely useful tool that provides insight into your supply chain processes
What do you dislike?
As with any SAP product it is only as useful as the money you put into it. Unfortunately our company does not have the financial resources to continually update and improve SAP therefore we are left with a sub optimal product

Data extraction is easy .conversion of excel to sas daat aand vice cresa.

details,learning process is litlle hard to adaapt after working sas EG.'

What do you like best?
SAS is very flexible, I can manipulate and validate data in various formats and create many data sets to use for analytics.
What do you dislike?
SAS Server, - SAS should not be used as a database as it is does not have the features of the better developed DB such as Teradata and Oracle which are by far more superior than SAS

I do analyses and like it for SAS/STAT analyses, also the ability to get data and manipulate it easily.
What do you like best?
SAS is a very well though out peace of software and with an incredible variety of tools for Analytic, it is undeniably one of the best tool on the market.
If you are a mathematician or a statisticians, learning SAS programming is a must to make you marketable in the Data Science realm. One of the most powerful tool I have used by far.
What do you dislike?
The learning curve is very very steep, in college an entire class was just about SAS programming.
Though the syntax is close to most programming language it is not super intuitive, the sheer number of macros and functions is very overwhelming.
The other thing is the price, extremely over-priced, making almost inaccessible to certain business or very hard to justify the cost when statistical software like R are completely free
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Very pricey software for Data Analytics. Use R it is free and much easier to learn.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
I mostly use this in college for class projects or thesis work. Again a very powerful software for optimization, statistical analysis, data mining and even to create UI for the people using your models and other SAS creations.
What do you like best?
I like how it automates my Whole Foods data dumps that are too large to run in excel.
What do you dislike?
The complexity of the code makes it very unusable and has made me shy away from even using it.

Using it to combine large amounts of sales and store data.
