Social Studio issues
seems to be used only to benefit Simon's image- the limitations on posting frequency/pictures/content do NOT benefit the merchants. I understand the importance of brand cohesion among malls & outlets, but it seems counter-intuitive to the idea of using social media: we want people to visit our locations and buy things. Customers don't care if the image on Facebook is rectangular in shape and perfectly sized- they want to know what sales the stores are having. The amount of declined posts I've received based PURELY on that is ridiculous- I always edit them as soon as I can but since the reviewing process on social studio can take so long, the promotions or sales have already ended, even if I've scheduled the post far enough in advance that it shouldn't be an issue. Brand cohesion is important, but it means nothing if it's too restrictive to actually increase sales.
lack of attention to detail of the reviewers- for instance ,one time I scheduled a number of build a bear posts to be posted on Facebook and twitter, alternating each week. I created all of these posts at one time to schedule them, and they almost all got declined because the reviewer didn't want social media "saturated with build-a-bear"- those posts were scheduled to go out throughout the month. It was a lot of wasted time and effort on my part and reflected badly on me to the merchant because I assured her I would get the information out.
Clunky- there needs to be a default filter that each location can choose. I've had my computer freeze many times because every time I open Social Studio, every location is visible and I have to remove that filter before I post something and after as well. It slows down my computer tremendously.
There needs to be a clear, easy to read print option so I can print out my month of scheduled posts

The new interface looks nice, but there is very little to recommend as of today.

Lack of tagging or custom config of reports, UX not good

Unless you already use DSalesforce, there's no reason to use this. Even if you do use salesforce, integrating your social data is not a smooth process.

How social conversation impacts reputation. There haven't been any benefits so far.

Routine failure and burdensome technical support.

It is one of those plataforms in which you can program the content in advance.
What do you dislike?
It´s a really complex tool, instead of making the things easier, it`s really complicated. For example, in twitter, you cant tweet in real time, you can`t RT if you aren`t mentioned, you can`t search hashtags, you can`t errase things.
For Facebook, you can`t know which comment is from which post, or if it is inbox and sometimes when you answer, the answer is never reflected on FB. The timeline is just for 7 days and it makes impossible to track something older than that. You can`r erase or edit once the post is published, and you can`t hide messages.
And finally it crashes continiously.

Not a fan of this tool, so I don't have much to say here, unfortunately.

Social Studio is not a very robust platform, and so my company ended up changing vendors. The analytics left a lot to be desired. I stopped using it for scheduling posts long ago, so it ended up being a very expensive tool to monitor recent social activity on Facebook and Instagram.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This tool did not accomplish what we needed, and it's quite expensive. We ended up switching to tools that provide amazing analytics, contesting and monitoring.
