Yes, you are right Rock RMS is free to install and use for all religious organizations out there. All you need to do is hire a developer or software expert to help you customize the app according to your specific needs. Using this app makes things easier for your employees to handle all the administrative tasks to ensure that the church is thriving. You can easily monitor your contributions or donations. You can encourage more people to join by sharing the sign-up links and quickly disseminate any critical information through texts, phone calls, online messages, or emails. You can do many things with the application, and most of our employees are very impressed with how it works.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

Rock RMS is a very competitive software that’s meant for church management. Sometimes the success of an organization highly depends on the software that you are using. Rock does a lot of great things for us, and we genuinely appreciate it. However, managing this application is not a walk in the park. If you are not aware of the technical aspects necessary to make it work to the level that you expect, you will surely feel frustrated. At first, we thought that we could handle things on our end, but late on, we realized that there are so many issues in the front and back end that needs to be dealt with. We had no choice but to hire a reputable programmer to help us maintain the program.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

Before shifting to Rock RMS, we are using multiple software for different purposes. One id for our database management, the other one is for membership sign-ins, a separate email address, and a chat group for communication purposes. Although these apps serve their purpose, honestly, they can be overwhelming to use at the same time. We are glad that we were able to find a single software that caters to the organization's needs.

If you want your church to succeed, it is crucial to choose a partner that can help you manage your members and activities at the same time. Rock allows you to do these things by effectively taking charge of the member database, promoting effective and open communication amongst leaders and its members. Rock lets us reach out to other communities through fundraising projects and other programs that are beneficial to the majority. The program is also useful in running reports that give you an idea of the organizations' financial status and the ongoing progress of each event/program. Every church is unique in terms of structure, goals, and policies. However, using software like Rock RMS makes it easier for the organization to achieve its goals; that is why it's worth using.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

Users and admins are allowed to customize the application for their convenience and advantage. However, doing this is easier said than done. The features and settings are quite complex to understand since most of us do not have the technical expertise to resolve certain things that are going on. For us to implement these changes, we had no choice but to hire a coding expert.

Rock allows us, staff members, to handle things with ease. The system itself is automated, which saves us time and energy. At first, we were quite hesitant to try out the system because we were intimidated by its features, especially data management. But we decided to try things out found out that we can do more things and organize more events in the future.

I can easily find what I'm looking for, especially when I need to reach out to church members and family members. Prior to using Rock RMS, it takes me forever to send mass emails, but now I can accomplish this simple task in less than 30 minutes.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

Some features are not that convenient to use based on a user's standpoint. But I'm glad that improvements are being made to improve user experience. I appreciate the fact that reports can be pulled up fast and easy. However, it would be great if they can add a user history on the app so it would be easy to determine who made changes/edits on records and requests.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

The growth of our organization has been immensely overwhelming which means that there are more work and responsibilities that are in store for us. I like that Rock RMS is doing a lot of things to upgrade our workflow process thus allowing us to do more things that are relevant to the growth of the organization.

Rock is very useful for churches and various organizations. However, the problem is you would need to hire someone to help you manage the software efficiently. Hiring a web developer is a must if you want to maximize the use of RMS Rock. If you lack the skills to manage this app, you might find it quite complicated to use daily.

Using Rock has been a great help to our organization. It’s like having a personal secretary that helps you manage your communications with other members and keeps records updated and in sync at all times. I’m happy that we were able to integrate Rock into our official site, making it easier to browse for online listings.
