They ask for my credit card information for the free trial. I decided it wasn't for me and asked for my subscription to be canceled after noticing there was no such an option under my account settings, despite sending multiple emails to the support email I never got a confirmation from them. Waiting to see if they charge my credit card after the trial is over. I would be wary of doing business with this company.
This compnay works with DROPSHIPFORSALE .COM THEY OWE ME MONEY FOR OVER $500 DOLLARS I CONTACTED THEM BOTH REFERSION AND DROPSHIPFORALE I keep getting the runaround they are both still not paying me DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH OR ASSOCIATE YOURSELF WITH EITHER OF THESE COMPANIES!! YOU SEND THEM BUSINESS AND BUILD CONTENT AND PRMOTE THEM AND THEY DONT PAY YOU!!! FROM NOVEMBER 2021 I STILL DONT HAVE THE MONEY I AM OWED!!! SCAM ALERT! IF THEY ARE LIGET THEY SHOULD HAVE PAID ME BY NOW!
What do you like best?
The best thing about this software is the dashboard. I like how you can keep all your Affiliates organized in one area and can quickly go in and check who has what commission structure. Unfortunately there is a lot that I dislike (explained below) so I would not recommend Refersion to anyone.
What do you dislike?
There is a lot that I dislike about Refersion.
- It is very glitchy and only links about half of the Affiliate orders to their dashboard. So, that means we have to manually go through Shopify and search under each of the Affiliate discount codes for all their orders to make sure we're paying them the correct commission.
- It's confusing to set up. The "conversion triggers" and setting up custom links that are connected to Shopify are hard to figure out at first and there is a lot to learn for this platform.
- You can't have more than one commission structure per Affiliate. We had a few Affiliates who wanted to offer a higher discount to special customers, and we had to be creative in solving the issue for them.
- The "Referral Link" is very hard to customize. We have to say "Ignore the business details on the right side, we'll manually change those after you sign up" since we don't want to offer the same exact commission structure to each Affiliate.
- It is unnecessarily expensive. There are other softwares out there that are much less confusing or expensive.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
There are a lot of glitchy and confusing issues with Refersion. The only benefits are the email notifications and ability to have all your Affiliate information in one spot.
What do you like best?
It's really easy to use and very straight forward. Best for a simple affiliate program that's a supplemental piece of your marketing strategy.
What do you dislike?
It ended up being too limiting for our purposes. Not enough ability to find bigger affiliates or customize payouts.

Driving traffic through affiliate marketing.

It is an ok and cheap tool to build an affiliate group and the most exciting feature is that it has recently launched a "marketplace" where the products can be discovered by others.

The interface is simple but not so intuitive.
