What do you like best?
Very easy to create a "ChatBot" question and answer system in our unified search portal leveraging IBM WEX. The knowledge base building and APIs are very straightforward.
What do you dislike?
We have a very basic instance of QnA Maker, so i'm sure there are many more capabilities that would be unlocked by paying a higher fee.
One thing i've noticed is that our API gets hung up and it takes a while to really get going on our portal, where the API is sent and our "ChatBot" is located. Usually, there is a 30 second to 1 minute delay before the first response pops up, and after that it is very smooth and quick.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
As I mentioned, we created a unified search portal utilizing WEX, and this QnA Maker instance allows us to create sort of an FAQ-style "ChatBot" to assist in navigating through our portal.
Our goal is to also start utilizing the ability to upload some FAQ lists and have QnA Maker provide the answer automatically from the website instead of having to program it.
What do you like best?
1. Very Easy interface for building Question and Answer bots.
2. URL Import. This feature is out of box. Give it a URI and your bot is ready for production level.
3. Good Import features for CSV and Even PDF.
4. LUIS plus QnA Maker is best combo you will ever use. Intent recognition and On the go testing is what i was searching for easy use case development
What do you dislike?
A bit difficult setup with own hosting. You have to setup local server to get this working.
I feel a bit more freedom in using own API would be great.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Understanding of Azure is must for using QnA.
At some points you might need to use third party services to integrate bots. Use Inbuilt samples from Microsoft.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
1. Using organisation documents and RFC to Build bots.
2. Import all previous Documentation to get a new Bot. Amazing feature .
3. It's easy to setup on Azure.
What do you like best?
QnA Maker API allows you to send queries directly from your application (usually a bot), and quickly receive responses based on your inputted content. This saves users from navigating clunky QnA or FAQ areas of your website and gives them the ability to ask their question in a more natural fashion.
What do you dislike?
The downside of QnA Maker is the way it can get confused as your knowledge base grows. You may need to continually train it to link questions and answers. Sometimes this means typing slight variations of the same question over and over until it recognizes what it should respond with. This can have a negative flow on effect where the system starts to link under-trained responses with the response you are attempting to train, meaning you need to train those parts of the model again.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
We found it useful to setup a conversation router with Microsoft Language Understanding Intelligent Service (LUIS), which can pick up keywords in a query and then link on to a more specific QnA instance. Having multiple QnA instances running in parallel was useful not only for managing the training, but also helped prevent wild outlier responses appearing. Simply separating information about two vastly different areas can improve QnA Maker's ability to find what you are looking for.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
Having users type their questions into a bot and having the bot respond conversationally has been a huge improvement. FAQ pages are clunky and difficult to navigate. Typing your question in a box is not. Additionally, you are able to collect logs of messages sent to QnA Maker that give you better insight into the kinds of questions your users are asking, which allows you to further improve on your knowledge base.
What do you like best?
Very easy to create an Own Chatbot QnAmaker and easy to integrate with chatbot service.
What do you dislike?
I feel it easy but some time is confusing with integrated with other Chatbot scenarios.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
I am using to create a chatbot.
