CAN'T BE TRUSTED! I've been using them for years, renewed early this year. Just noticed I was getting false positives - the site tells me I'm protected even though the app is set to off. Then I discover that they don't support the older version of Mac OS I've been using all this time (even though there's nothing by the app icon in Applications to indicate that), so that for some unknown period I've been conned into paying them even though I was getting no protection. I call that FRAUD.They tell me now, after all this time, that they offer complicated 15-step alternatives with Tunnelblick and Open VPN, but that's not what I paid for.UPDATE - they have basically confirmed that for the years I have paid them, they were not supporting the OS I was running and were therefore not providing me with VPN service. USE AT YOUR PERIL!!

Was a good VPN, which i had used with only a few problems until, they randomly decided to cancel my year subscription, after only 5 months, i still had 7 months left paid for...and actually had the cheek to send an email saying "we are sorry to hear you go, please consider rejoining us".I was quite reasonable, i waited 3 or 4 days, after sending them a message, to see if they would rectify the problem, but they have chosen to ignore that, which I think says a lot about their customer service too :)I am writing this, for a few reasons...1. To warn others this may happen to them.2. In the hope they might see this and try to solve my problem (if they do that within the next few week, I shall remove the review, as they will have at least shown they want to help their customers).

only just joined. had limited joy with the main reasons for joining which were iPlayer at BBC and ITV Hub. the BBC kept knocking me off because they could detect that pia is an unregistered in terms of ip address in the uk and thus clearly indicates a vpn, which they do not allow. this is not mentioned as a problem in the pia info. ITV allowed live watching but did not allow stored or streamed watching of series. so almost equally, not a lot of value for me. have reported a few times over the last few days and no resolution. so a refund of funds paid is required. Had a response from PIA from this posting and sent an email as requested. i just trust that i will now get my refund as my prior email requests have gone unanswered

Billing made a mistake Promotion for free extra months was never provided This app does not allow for many programs and email to display....always needing to turn it off.Customer Service is poor and inadequate.
