What do you like best?
I used it only a few times, so I all I can say is it looks like it has a lot of potential.
What do you dislike?
Awful customer service. You can't just sign up for a year but have to agree to annual payments from your credit card. One year later they charged $128 to my card with no notice. I contacted them immediately and they agreed to refund my money and cancel the contract. Three weeks and several more emails promising a refund I still have received nothing. Next step is to call my bank and file a complaint against PowToon. Lousy customer service.

None. Was used only for personal use.

NOTHING COMPANY IS TERRIBLE DO NOT USE.
What do you dislike?
Out of no where a bunch of free characters and props upgraded all the way to Biz accounts only! Making all of my PowToon videos I had already created completely useless! I just upgraded to a Pro account 3 days ago and spent over $200 and deeply regret it! Find another software to use the company has no respect for their users. A Pro account is entirely worthless now as they removed most of the features! I wasted 3 days of work and $200, to be screwed over by the company!

Do not getting unless you are willing to be get a business account for $700+ and still be screwed over by the company at any time

What do you like best?
Powtoon gradually worsened while I used it. It would export videos with glitches and the videos would not export exactly like the preview showed. I would find errors in my final videos.
What do you dislike?
I disliked the lack of support. It would take days for an email response to be returned to me and rarely did the advice ever actually help. I was using it for my company's videos that were usually time sensitive and eventually had to switch to a different product because of the various issues I had.

I was trying to use Powtoon as a fast and easy video making software but it did not actually help me to achieve that goal.

The cartoons look good but the overall experience is awful.
What do you dislike?
It's super slow. Then after you have your "Movie" ready it plays out of time, meaning it speeds up and slows down. Just an awful experience

Marketing/ how to videos
At first I was excited to use this software, it was great! I spent many many hours into creating my presentation and then the next day I attempted to export it. DID NOT WORK!!! everything worked fine right up until the day of my very VERY important presentation (but then again my fault for relying on supposedly one of the top presentation making sites. I figure, okay exporting doesn't work so ill just present using the on site player. NOPE!! The site is not loading my presentation at all anymore. It's almost as if it knew when I needed the presentation the most just so it would fail on me even though the many hours troubleshooting. I Contacted customer support and they attempted to remedy the situation and give me pro features so i could just download it. I was emailed hours later and was told they would download it and send me the link for it instead. Still waiting and my presentation started an hour ago at this time. Customer service is a joke and does not feel the need to contact me or update me on whats going on. I really wanted to use this software for my future presentations as a student due to the ease of access but that is no good if something like this happens. I will be trying to find other sites that review pow toon with this same message so hopefully other students like me will not go through the same thing I did.
