What do you like best?
I was able to get direct feedback from my target demographic. I could filter on Job Title, Seniority, and Industry which was very important for me since I work with a lot of B2B companies who have a hard time doing user research.
What do you dislike?
I would have said that they don't allow you to recruit your own participants but I heard they just released that feature so I am going to try that out soon.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
PlaybookUX is great for freelancers and agency's because it's pay as you go which allows you to get feedback without committing to a massive contract.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
I want to speak to my target demographic to create personas and get feedback on prototypes. Also, PlaybookUX makes the research synthesis process really easy.
What do you like best?
- Customer support is top notch (around the clock help)
- Participants are everyday people (not professional testers) so I'm getting good insights
- I've used a lot of tools and it has great UX and extremely affordable for the value
- Analytics great for in the weeds for UX-ers
So glad I found a reliable tool that is actually affordable for consultants / freelance
What do you dislike?
- Wish I could bring my own participants to studies but received an email that they're in beta for those features. Can't wait to try it out
- Video highlight reels are great to show my clients so would love to see that feature

If you have any questions, use the Intercom features for lightning fast responses. They actually get back within minutes.

I've performed countless unmoderated sessions and also a few moderated sessions. I'm able to speak to exactly the right people for our philanthropy website / concept creation.
What do you like best?
Easy to use and anyone can get a user testing study up and running within 5 mins. I'm not overwhelmed with jargon. Our first video was received within an hour and the study filled in a day! Awesome high quality testers.
What do you dislike?
I can't really think of anything! I was looking for a more direct way to share videos with co-workers instead of having to download them to my desktop.

Test your prototype early and often and you'll get buy-in with managers.

We were able to test complex concepts and prototypes with the tool. We're able connect with very hard to reach demographics. That was previously impossible.
Top line software for UX research. You can use their participants or bring your own and the cost is reasonable. It's cool how they show you interesting quotes from the sessions. It makes coming back to the project much easier. Also, great for collaboration with team members and clients.
It's a really amazing tool for product teams that allows my team to test designs before developing and after implementation. I use their web and prototype testing at least one a month to validate. There's nothing better than hearing people talk about the things they like and dislike about your designs!
