Marg Parabola

Being able to fetch APIs, transform datas and build workflows without any dev resources is a must. New connectors are regularly added and support has been awesome so far. I have been using Zapier for years, and see Parabola as a great addition, especially if you need to aggregate / reformat data.

It would be great to be able to export data to APIs (and not only leverage APIs as sources. I'm not fully convinced by current pricing, but as any early stage service, they must follow a test and learn approach.

As a marketer, I leverage many APIs to generate leads and monitor our marketplace, Parabola is a great way to set POC rapidly and deploy new tools without any dev work.

It is empowering to be able to cut out the overpriced programmer middle man, but it is even more empowering to see what I've been missing by not having a daily combined picture of all of my data.

At first I thought the user experience was so simple that it surely couldn't be powerful. I'm glad they made it that way because all of the sudden you are doing very complex things and your imagination explodes what if I could do this and what if I could do that. I started doing so many transformations to my data that I filled up the usable area and things slowed down a little bit. But within a few days they proactively sped things back up.

Try the free trial. At first I just uploaded a bunch of Excel csv's to play around with. Then I saw the API import and thought I've never used one of those. Bam, all the data I needed from a platform that had weak reporting. Now I just make my own reports appending 4 other sources of data and I don't have to remember how I did it in Excel for next time.

Being able for the first time to harness all of the data available from all the platforms we use daily without knowing how to code any APIs is amazing. Parabola has a drag/drop icon UI so simple that I've surprised myself on how easy it was to transform, merge, export and automate data in minutes. Not knowing any code at all at first I wondered if I could do it. The support has been top notch. Always a timely answer to questions asked with examples shared that I understand. Now I can tackle jobs that I would have had to hire an overpriced programmer only to wait weeks and hear excuses.

I don't have any programming experience, but was able to build several parabolas to automate a lot of our workflow. We save 20-40 hours per week thanks to parabola!

I don't dislike anything about the product.

Process automation, scraping for online data, data calculation, report creation and others.

The ability to automate a lot of the functionalities on our website. Helps with our matching algorithm.

Still a developing product - nothing i don't dislike.

Parabola enables professionals of all skill levels to extract and manipulate data at a speed previously unseen. This is thanks to an intuitive UI which stands out as a diamond in the rough in the typically unforgiving field of data science and engineering.

The number of destinations one can extract to is lacking. That said, the Parabola team appears to be actively working on this.

As a data engineer, I can technically accomplish much of what Parabola does via scripting, but I choose to use Parabola regardless as spares me the massive time and effort to perform these tasks otherwise. This speed opens an entirely new channel of communication: when we are gifted with the ability to extract information as fast as we can conceive it, meeting room conversations of "what is possible" are answered immediately.
