What do you like best?
If it worked for us, I'm sure we would love it. The price was very cheap for what was being offered.
What do you dislike?
It turned out that there wasn't actually a right fit for our tech stack, and they couldn't really adequately protect our private/sensitive data. Due to a number of reasons we couldn't make use of the product – however they charged us for it anyway.
As soon as we told them that it wasn't the right fit, we got some of the most rude emails from someone in their C suite, making outrageous claims and practically defaming us. While the support team tried what they could and were friendly, that interaction with "one of the bosses" meant that I'd never want to do business with them as 'the fish rots from the head'.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Cheap if it works for you, but be careful about making sure it meets your needs early on in the process. Don't expect them to be even slightly friendly if anything goes wrong.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
We attempted to solve a sync for BI purposes. However we didn't realise any benefits as we were unable to implement the software.
What do you like best?
The platform comes with a set of connectors to a great deal of API-enabled services, which perform at an expected level. The data warehouse runs on clean Amazon Redshift and features storage optimization features, which can be useful, especially for frequent collections of relatively persistent data.
What do you dislike?
Connections to other database services are however lacking, especially while using SSH tunelling or a more complex database structure. Changes in source structure are a point that usually requires user intervention.
Experience with customer support is not the best either, especially due to overwhelming amount of followup questions that can be asnwered internally. While they typically respond fairly soon, some issues take long to get resolved.
In terms of compute performance, the transparently priced business plan is okay for simple queries but running more difficult ones featuring complex window functions can take long.
It is very important to discuss location of particular deployment, especially if it will be accessed from outside of the US.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are an SME looking to integrate data from multiple application services into one cloud-hosted database offering a decent range of analytical capabilities, it is a way to go. Not so much for IT businesses using their own database structures or large enterprises that still keep vast amounts of data in legacy systems unsupported by the platform.

Panoply takes data from production database as well as multiple other sources and allows us to integrate all of them in one place for purposes of internal analyses.

is a very versatile and dynamic tool to store files in a very useful way, thus making it easier to access and manage these files

The ability of this tool can be a bit limited to handle since it has limitation to the amount of files it can handle.
