What do you like best?
Nothing compare to others. so I do no have any thing more than 40 char so what !
What do you dislike?
very sensitive search engine, it is one of the worst thing if you want to search
no permanent Colum/ layout you can define per each user
obviously does not support the tree or folders like Microsoft similar
No review for lot of extension
slow

Obviously data management

it centralizes all files from different contractors into one place
easy to access
What do you dislike?
Hard to search for data. it could be better defined but it also depends on how the person who updates it on what sub codes they apply to it (so its more of a user error on the other end)
Recommendations to others considering the product:
its just like sharepoint in my opinion.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
sharing all files (that are made public to the group of course).
Benefits, download everything so when the job is done you have your records... the main GC owns Aconex not you.
What do you like best?
The thing that I like the best about Aconex is the ability to share with the entire team on a project to keep everyone current and up to date.
What do you dislike?
One thing that I would like to see is the ability to better work on documents and update them live as opposed to having to download and reupload them.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
There is nothing specific that I would have to say or recommend when using Aconex. Just like any new piece of technology, make sure that it is the solution that you are looking for and have a strategic Implementation program.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
The main problem that we are solving using Aconex is having remote sites and/or remote employees that need access to the information of the project that we are working on in real time.
What do you like best?
Ease of use and online help / training facilities.
What do you dislike?
Helpdesk are not that knowledgeable and support is slow.
