I’m sure it’s a good tool. I tried it for a few hours but ultimately moved on to something less expensive. The trial ran out without any reminder email and I was charged a non refundable fee. I get it, it’s my fault for not cancelling on the spot, but you need to remind customers their trial is about to expire. I won’t be back.

even though Octoparse is listed as a free tool for web scraping, their tutorials are tailored to specific issues and overly simple that you cant apply to different forms of websites. Also, the customer service quality is very poor. If you ask for help or guidance they intentionally tell you "I'm afraid I can't give you a free live tutorial. The cost of a live tutorial is $250 per hour. And it sounds like Octoparse isn't suitable for you. I'd suggest you look for something else". Unfortunately, their services cannot be tailored to different needs and if you stumble across any problem which is very likely they leave you with the option of you either leave or pay $250 which is extremely unreasonable for students like me. Do better Octoparse. Do not recommend. go save your time with another software.

Good grief. I requested a refund within their 5-day window after finding a different program that met my needs. It took 3 emails back and forth to get a refund. (Each time, they asked me to give them the reason for the request. Not sure why they needed it in writing more than once. And they also took out a "processing fee.") It was disappointing and time-consuming. Usually, 5-day (risk-free trials) don't' require so much gymnastics.

First they will make your refund almost impossible to get, if you pay through paypal. they refund you very small amount to make paypal detects that you already got refunded. I mean what kind of software cost this much per monthSecond, I have use their software, they ONLY can extract website with consistent amount of div, (but most data heavy website is an ugly ones). So it is very useless software. Im still unable to extract good data from the government.. so with that prices, better not

the programs are written in chinese- the reviews are fake- they dont return the funs and Paypal is closing their account but they keep on opening new ones with new email address. CHINESE SCAM
