Nimble AMS is very user friendly and easy for those staff members who were not active in our previous system to use the system.
The support provided by Nimble Land is very much appreciated. They reply in a reasonable amount of time and provide step by step instructions that allow me to correct the issue, where applicable.
AMS Support is a valuable resource too.
What do you dislike?
The way objects are set up sometimes make reporting difficult.
Finance issues we're experiencing, including the challenges with multi-currency.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take advantage of Discovery to identify your organization's needs. It's also a great benefit to have the multiple testing phases.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
We were using 3 different systems for membership, registration, and our Sales team. We now have processes in one system, which will streamline and allow for more accurate reporting. This also allows us to effectively control only members registering for members-only events.
What do you like best?
My two favorite things about Nimble are 1) the ability for staff (non-developers) to customize our database with minimal help, and 2) the reporting - it is very powerful. Since Nimble is built on top of Salesforce, the sky is really the limit as far as what you can do with it. Taking advantage of Salesforce resources like Trailhead means that you can learn how to customize your system extensively. The problem is having enough time in the day to pursue all of the ideas you will have!
What do you dislike?
Nimble has grown very quickly, and the people we are in contact with - while fantastic - are overextended. This has resulted in our projects being repeatedly delayed, requests going unanswered until they are made several times, and frustration on our side. We hope that NimbleAMS realizes the magnitude of this issue and soon makes improvements.

Ask some hard questions about Nimble staffing and whether it's improved.

Everything we present to members looks slicker with NimbleAMS.
We are able to more quickly respond to issues and more flexibly implement changes - in many cases without much help.
We have learned how to automate simple processes ourselves, and recently connected Nimble to an email marketing tool with middleware ourselves. This opens the door to all kinds of customized communications to our members with minimal manual list management for us.

As Nimble AMS is built on Salesforce, it doesn't take a technical expert to complete some base configuration, though I do recommend strong technical skills for anyone in an admin role. The out of the box system can meet a lot of business needs, but the system is also flexible enough to meet any customized requirements. The reporting capabilities are great and the support team is very helpful.
What do you dislike?
Since it is a great product, they have grown very quickly in a short time and could benefit from additional support staff. While they offer the ability to integrate with other systems, it has not always been the easiest process.

We have been able to quickly create advanced reports and review our data in ways we could not realize prior. Our members have a much more personalized user experience and admin staff feels empowered to manage the system without much support.
