What do you like best?
Cheap Price was the only good thing which attracted me to buy their service. And earlier I was able to contact the team regarding some hands-on experience of the dashboard and the team was quick to respond but as the time progressed there support became worse
What do you dislike?
Tech Support sucks. They will give you false deadlines to resolve the issue and All the time same excuse."We are working with our backend team regarding the issue".
I don't understand how many years they will resolve the issue. Worst You can't contact them via call. Only emails which will make you wait all the time.
Their customer support will give you excuse all the time and will ask you to keep patience all the time instead of solving the issue. and worst thing is they will not ever contact you from there own even if they tell you they will get back to you. They Won't. You keep chasing them but they won't give a shit about it
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do not fall for their cheap price. Believe me. If you want, first try their free service first and you will have a good idea. Also do not invest a lot of money to buy double credits. I did that. Also, system security is also not good. I have lost 30k SMS credits due to there system got hacked
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
I was helping my clients send bulk SMS using msg91 but due to there worst service, I have lost clients because I am not able to get a delivery report via webhook so can't show it to customers as well as Manual delivery reports also can't be exported. The only benefit you will get is the cheap price. and everything else just sucks. I will not take their services for free from now. Lost my Client due to msg91. finding some other SMS gateway. let's see how their service is
What do you like best?
Their startup program is quite generous. It can help early-stage startups start delivering SMSes.
What do you dislike?
This list is big. I will try to summarize:
- The API integration is unnecessarily complex. They run another company called "viasocket.com" which is their recommended way of connecting to MSG91 API.
- I have been their paying customer since over a year and there hasn't been a week passed by where I haven't received 500 class errors from their API. The API is down frequently.
- Their tech team is unable to resolve issues. I have contacted them 4 times regarding frequent service degradation. They assured me that the issues have been resolved but they are not. I am still receiving the same errors regularly.
- Some tooltips in their dashboard openly admit their tech team's incompetence. I am copying pasting this message from their dashboard: "Due to some technical issues, if the admin resend your message, you might see reports for the same number twice." Can't post a screenshot, since it isn't allowed here.
I am switching to Textlocal as soon as my MSG91 credits are exhausted. Goodbye!

I won't recommend them to any company who takes SMS communication seriously.

Cheaper than the competition. That's the only pro about them.
Am using MSG91 SMS service for the last 5months but recently I have never seen this kind of worst service and support.They provided a kind of SDK model so they should update proper documentation and proper updates of each change & should be sending updates to the client also. But They simply made changes and without review they just published.I faced a lot of issues, the SMS is not working but they return SMS sent successfully but that is not delivered, SMS credit was debited even they log this kind of issue on their side,I lost many clients due to the MSG91 mistake (worst SMS api), but they simply replied will check and update. Worst service and support.................

I love the SMS features of msg91 which helps me conduct powerful SMS marketing campaigns.

It doesn't support Mac-based platforms, only desktop.
