It is a great tool to organise but if you can't undo anything if you're making a group map. So be careful not to delete any of your progress because it happens and you can't undo your mistake.
I am very pleased with the ease of use of Mindomo. I use Mindomo to organize all resources for my lecture material. The assignment feature is nice for student group work. It would be great to have more color styles for the nodes and the ability to save custom styles.
Excellent tool and very easy to use. We use the online tool and the desktop app on my computer. The app crashes every now and then and that's the only disadvantage for me. I use it to create storyboards for our PowerPoint presentations. The switch between Overview and mindmap view is a very nice and easy feature when I start a new storyboard.
What do you like best?
Mindomo is simple to use yet enable you to make a wide variety of tasks more efficient and easier to organize and manage. There are many pre-designed templates for many types of tasks including presentations, brainstorming sessions, product launches and more. It's easy to fill in the blanks and your end product is visually appealing while being highly functional.
What do you dislike?
The features are somewhat limited and it would be helpful if the number of templates was increased.

Play around with it for a bit so that you can learn how to fully utilize the product.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
Sometimes being able to visualize a project makes it easier to understand and organize than simply reading text. I use this mainly as an organization tool when laying out the steps and timelines to various projects. I've found it to be very helpful.
The application does exactly what I needed. It would be great if the app had the option of holding the "Shift" shortcut keyboard to select everything so that it can edit text at once, instead of selecting one by one.
