What do you like best?
Honestly it's hard for me to think of anything I like about Maestro. If I have to choose something, it would probably be creating a new reservation. It is fairly simple and painless, and Maestro puts in all the information for you if you choose a name that's already in the system.
What do you dislike?
I dislike most everything about Maestro. It is a good program in theory, but it just doesn't work right. It's slow. It crashes a lot. It almost has a personality of its own, and it's really picky about how you input information. Even in lists of hundreds of items, there isn't a scroll bar. You must key up or down for ages. Nothing is intuitive, and if you make one mistake it can be difficult and time consuming to fix it.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
We use it to keep information about each residence, reservation, and guest all in one place. It has been helpful to be able to post charges to a reservation.
What do you like best?
It links all hotel operations in one system

They sell it as customizable, but it's not. Its extremely bulky and time consuming and hard to access information from

Be very very careful what you wish for. We should have spent the money to hire someone to create a program for us

Linking all hotel operations to one software system. Have benefited from daily revenue reporting

Simple interface; ability to manually adjust folios
What do you dislike?
Too many features that cannot be disabled; program glitches; I do not have the ability to make certain changes without having support perform them; random errors that support could not assist with fixing; too many pop up windows for simple processes.

Useful for day to day processes, but we end up using Excel instead of the software for ease of certain processes

I like that the system accepts reservations correctly without having to reset the server.

Still very slower, especially when assigning a room

It took a bit to learn and at times was confusing but once I was passed the learning curve I had few issues
