What do you like best?
Didn't have a good experience with it. it was too cumbersome.
What do you dislike?
not more duplicate screens. Encompass was more user friendly
Recommendations to others considering the product:
no.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
n.a i moved companies. did not like it for recruiting, nor being an end user
What do you like best?
Browser-based software that is accessible from any computer. Multiple users are able to work on a file simultaneously. The fee audit, borrower-responsible fees, and changed circumstance screens are all helpful in reviewing disclosures and fees for compliance.
What do you dislike?
Everything is completely customizable, to the point where the implementation staff cannot tell you what best practice would be in any instance. Because it's not used by many companies, it's difficult to get other opinions, or find anyone who is experienced in using the program. The majority of the support staff seems to know how the software works, but not much about mortgage origination. It's a little too open-ended for a company without a very clear blueprint of the workflow they want to implement without a lot of trial and error. The interface is not aesthetically pleasing, and the document upload and reporting functions are, in a word, clunky. While the interface is deceptively simple, the buildout offers too many choices and not enough direction. When problems arise, it amounts to a lot of finger-pointing by LendingQB and whichever vendor's integrated services are not working, with the lender acting as the go-between.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Go in with a very clear picture of what you want the system to look like, and start simply and add on from there.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
The pricing engine is fully integrated, and maintenance is prompt and handled almost exclusively by the support staff, which is kind of a relief after using many other systems that offered very little support. The pricing engine also measures parameters on a much more granular level, and is very customizable.
What do you like best?
This system is pretty user-friendly and the UI is pretty intuitive. It's great for smaller mortgage companies.
What do you dislike?
Since the system is pretty antiquated (in that there's quite a few functions that the program does NOT do) - it's really only optimal for smaller mortgage companies. I would NOT recommend this for a larger national lender.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
In a smaller mortgage company setting - LendingQB is a good option because it's simple to use. However, you don't have the option of importing docs from a third-party (like EllieMae or Blend) - which is why I wouldn't recommend this program for large companies. For small companies, it fits with a slower paced environment since it's simple to use and easy to navigate.
What do you like best?
One stop shop, everything I needed is housed in one system
What do you dislike?
The system can be a Little slow at times especially with upgrades.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Be patient while learning all the program has to offer
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
Ease of Originating a new file
What do you like best?
Easy to use. Data is updated throughout the loan. It flows well starting with the loan officer all the way until the closing package is sent
What do you dislike?
Some data does not pull correctly onto our documents. We use ids for our doc system and they do not always map correctly from one to the other. We continue to have rounding issues and no way to manually fix them.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Overall good. My only compliant is some of the mapping issues and not always pulling the correct info into our doc system
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
Being able to communicate with ease between brokers underwriters and secondary
