Best would be if not only one video is seen but all videos of the speakers.

The system worked well although there were not very many users. It was easy to download the app, and we had headphones available, but it would have been preferable for people to bring their own headphones, which many didn’t think of ahead of time. We set up the translators in side rooms with the doors open so that they could hear and see the service directly. However, they found it very difficult to translate in the midst of the noisy room (especially since there were many children present!) In future events, we would want to provide the live feed directly to the translators in a closed room as this would have made their jobs easier.

This was our first experience with Interactio and it was great. Everything was easy to understand and staff was helpful, it took time for us to set technical issues. Translation was from Latvian-English and vice versa and 2 parallel sessions. Our customers were excited to use the app. I would suggest my partners to use Interactio.

Review of Interactio Positives - the platform is very user-friendly for interpreters. The quality of sound of interpretation that participants hear is very good. It is also very reassuring (for both interpreters and participants) to have the option of online technical assistance throughout the meeting. Challenges - for the average person, it can be confusing in the beginning to work between the app on one's phone, and the video feed on the laptop, if one is linking Interactio to another virtual communication platform. Speakers need to get used to "pausing" the app when they are speaking themselves, so that they don't also hear interpretation at the same time. Perhaps a few Tutorials provided by Interactio, in multiple languages, could assist with this?I found the Interactio team to be patient and available to assist with questions. Great experience for test pilotI'm confident we will build a strong relationship. Interactio gives us the possibility to organize simultaneous translations with just one click and adapts to the current context (quarantine). The app is easy to use, really user friendly even for people who is not familiar with the technology.
